Very happy with this gadget
Really nice and does a good job in making juice. I used to have a stand alone juicer but disliked how bulky and difficult clean up was. This is so much easier, takes up much less space and cleans up is a breeze. I am very glad I got it. I made carrot juice in a snap and used the pulp to make carrot muffins! I would definitely recommend this to friends.

Perfect juicer for home use
Works perfectly. I use it mainly to make carrots juice. ( note : I cut the carrots to small pieces)

Perfect for trying out juicing
I bought this to try drinking vegetable juice everyday. For $50, totally worth it. Makes quality cold press juice. After 4 months, I knew I want this to be part of my lifestyle, so I've upgrade to the $550 Nama J2 juicer. If you are new to juicing and have a KitchenAid, this is great to try juicing. I would expect it would only last about a year with daily use.Comparing KitchenAid to the Nama J2:Yield and juice quality: Both about the same, but Nama J2 might grind leafy greens a little betterTime: KitchenAid is slower and you have to add ingredients one at a time. Nama J2 is much faster, lets you load everything at once and walk away.Jamming: KitchenAid sometime jams near the end of a single juice. You have to be careful to cut some vegies and juice softer things first. When jammed, take the front off and push the block out (maybe +5 minutes of trouble shooting). Nama J2 keeps on working for 8-12 juices and doesn't require as much cutting.Cleaning: KitchenAid screen is hard to clean and the rubber tube to channel juice gets stained green. The screen for the Nama J2 is easier to clean but has more parts.Froth: KitchenAid is better and makes less bubbles.Size: KitchenAid juicer is much smaller if you don't count the KitchenAid itselfIn general, this is a solid juicer for trying it out or occasional use. It will take 30-60 minutes out of your day, and more if you are juicing for a whole family or batch juicing for the week. It is worth investing in the Nama J2 if you know you'll use it often and for years. You'll save a ton of time, effort and it has a 15 year warranty. But if you aren't sure you want to invest in that, start with this. The KitchenAid juicer makes quality juice, just with more time and effort, as well as not lasting as long.

Perfect juicer for home use
I’m always skeptical on the durability and compatibility on after market Kitchen Aid attachments but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with this juicer. It is very well made and heavy. Doesn’t feel cheap like other attachments. Just make sure to line up the arm that goes into your mixer before tightening the bolt. I didn’t experience the clogging that others complained of but mine doesn’t get heavy use. It’s nice that they include a brush for cleaning. Just make sure to clean everything really good after each use.

Does not fit my kitchen aid
It looks great and well made, but unfortunately it does not fit on my kitchen aid- it does not push in all the way to sit snug which means when I put the side screw back on the kitchen aid, it does not fit into the grove on the attachment, which leaves it wobbly.Because of that I have not tried using it.I have a KitchenAid Artisan, 5QT

Favorite attachment
Favorite attachment!Majority of the parts are easy to wash except the part that actually does the juice and the shredding.

Idea is good, outcome not quiet
Installation is quite easier but its very hard for me to secure this in place and had to tighten it a few times during the first 'test run'. I only has about 8 stem of the thin carrot, a small beet, a green apple and a cucumber. The top opening of the juicer is very high after putting it in the mixer and not very convenient to put the content in. The juice is splashing quiet a bit even with a tall cup and the plastic extension. The front end where it send the remaining garbage is too high and it tend to drop the dried content back to my cup. The opening clotted when i start the cucumber, i guess it does not do so well with juicing veggie.I think its a good idea but i think its not very secure in so i guess this will be returned.
