I actually had to buy this twice- the first time I broke a ribbon. But it was still a good value. I was having trouble with reassembly (I connected it but it was stuck in the apple logo loop) to I reached out via chat/email. I was concerned I made a mistake in my reassembly. The response was very prompt and they were very helpful. They sent a picture of the inside of a phone for me to compare mine to. I was afraid I was missing a screw because there was an empty hole, but I wasn't. Here I forgot to disconnect the battery cable the second time I replaced the screen. I disconnected, then reassembled, and then it worked beautifully. That was a few months ago and still no issues, so I am very happy with my purchase.

LCD doesn’t light the best

the replacement screen (iphone 8 plus) is too thick (my original was 4.2mm this is 4.7mm) which causes the screen not to lock in place. The screen is not flush with the rest of the phone. returning

Great product and did the job. Installation was very easy once you get the screen off, just be careful with the home button if that gets damage you will have issues. I would definitely buy this again.

Overall decent screen. The colors are somewhat muted, the touchscreen is not as responsive as the original. Comes with everything except the home button. Not having to mess with the top assembly (camera, speaker, proximity sensor, etc…) makes life a lot easier. It has been a few years since I replaced a screen so I consider myself a novice. Pro: screen, camera and everything else does what it should. The magnetic screw pad was extremely helpful and it came in a fairly nice and organized box. Con: No instructions, so have a computer with YouTube at the ready. The sealing kit was a joke. Other vids show the seal comes off the plastic sheet and has another layer on top to be removed later. The seal I received was firmly attached to the sheet and would not come off unless pried off with a razor and then came off in small strips. Until I get another sealing kit, I assume the phone will get water damage if it is in proximity of anything liquid. Lastly, the screen protector is about 1/8 short on all sides. Not sure what phone this was for, but definitely not the 8+. Guess better than nothing until I can order a correct screen protector, but makes the phone look kinda silly.

I’ve done a few of these and this is by far the most thought out. Loved the Screw diagram magnet -genius. And the fact that the dried camera came Installed. Very fiddle to do if you don’t have that already taken Care of.

Make sure you keep your original TouchID sensor if you value that feature and also be very careful with the ribbon cables and how far you extend them. The screen is indeed one piece LCD+Touch and 3D Touch was present after swapping. The speakerphone stopped working after my swap (error on my part) - so again be very careful fitting all the ribbon cables back precisely.
