I really like the flavor. It's definitely much stronger than regular salt, but you don't use nearly as much. It is highly recommended with the health professional that I am working with to lose a bunch of weight. Many of my friends have been on the program and not only have lose a large amount of weight but their health has improved greatly. Most have lowered the amount of medication they are taking or are completely off it. Himalayan Sea Salt is definitely part of the maintenance plan. Plus, the pink color is cool!

What can I say, it's Himalayan salt. I like the product. The bottle is a little large, for your hand to fit around, but it works and the price was right. I would purchase it again. I don't notice any health benefits, as I don't use much salt, but my understanding is that there are some trace minerals when you use this type of salt, so it is better then white table salt. I don't know if it is true, but it looks nice, and tastes good.

WOW...this grinder is AWESOME!!! We go through pink salt like crazy in my house and I felt like I was constantly refilling our grinder. I came across this one just looking for a large bag of course salt and I'm soooooo glad I did. It's not even that much bigger than my old grinder but it holds so much more!! I refilled my old one from this container and now it's only about 1/8th empty. I'm going to leave the old one on the kitchen table and keep this one by the oven. It's grinds pretty fine and it's just perfect! So glad I came across this on Amazon!

I use salt so much that I get my own salt shaker at family gatherings, and my granddaughter bought me a black -shirt that says "NEEDS SALT" in white letters across the front. Although I'm 76 years old I have terrific blood pressure and my doctor's blessing to consume all the salt I want. The only salt I use is coarse Himalayan Pink Salt. Spice Labs Himalayan grinds easily and never clogs, like other salts do. It is moisture free so I never have to add rice or clear out the grinder, and the taste is clean and pure. The 84 minerals are an important side benefit.

I have used this since early December and love the taste. The grinder works well but does leave a bit of fine powder at the top. That is no problem since it can be wiped right off. I use this numerous times a day and still it looks like it will last me a year at least. Hopefully, I never have to go back to processed salt. I think I might try some of their other flavors. I should have started using this years ago.

I am very pleased with this item. I love the gentler taste hymalayan salt provides. This is a sturdy grinder and grinds to a nice medium texture. As some reviews have noted, the grinder mechanism can be a bit tempermental, but just twisting it back and forth a bit allows the ground salt to come out easily. If I am doing a cooking project where I know I'll need a good quantity of salt I'll simply grind that amount and keep it in small bowl to have ready.

I have seen people talk about himalayan pink salt for a while now and wanted to try it. This is a pretty good deal for a pound of it with the grinder. The jar and grinder are both made of plastic but it is not cheap/flimsy and it works smoothly. They have also added "100% Raw, Natural & Unrefined" to the label (see picture) I was skeptical of the people who said that this tastes better but now I will be one of those people. The taste is different than that of traditional/kosher/sea salt. When i ground a little to lick before i added it to food i noticed that it wasn't overpowering. Honestly when i added it to my beef/veggie stir fry it was so good i just kept adding more and more to see if i could get that "too salty" taste and in my opinion it never happened. I finally just decided i should stop adding more. If you don't want to spend 10 dollars to try it at least buy a smaller bottle. I tend to go a little overboard with the amount i buy to "try" something and go with the best rated and lowest price per ounce option.

I wanted to buy a one-pound container of Himalayan Salt. I used about half of it in it's own grinder, and then purchased a pretty set of salt and pepper grinders from Amazon at a bargain price. The salt itself is a good, dark pink in the coarse bits I love. When I came back looking for the same perfect salt in bulk pack, the smallest size available was 2.2 pounds! So, even though I have my own grinder, I repurchased this pound-sized container. I can use it to refill my grinder , or in the event of breakage, I will have a spare grinder.
