Can you cut this belt for your waist size?

I cut my belt to size with shears. I then, used a soldering iron to melt the cut edge to prevent the webbing from unraveling. This was the easiest/cleanest/safest method (IMO) to fuse the cut end.

What's the difference between the "Black" and the "Black B"?

Hi Henry, I don't have the "Black B", only the "Black". The only thing different about the "Black B" that I can see in the images on Amazon is the front plate has a different shape and is unlike all the other buckles. I suspect they will all work the same. I ordered the "Black" for two reasons, I like the shape of the front plate better and it is the same shape as the others. I will be ordering more of them soon. They are light weight and hold the belt well especially if the web belt is aligned straight with the buckle. Of course for the airport it should get no buzz!

How strong is the belt? is it strong enough to support carrying - a tactical molle belt pouch (phone, sak), a 500 ml bottle pouch and a gps?
