Crochetterie: Cool Contemporary Crochet for the Creatively-minded

This book is my go to for pragmatic patterns. I'm an intermediate crocheter. I tend to crochet seasonally so it's not a skill I use everyday, but I do find the instructions in this book very easy to follow even if there's been a break in my crochet. All the projects I've made from here have turned out great. I really like the modern, closed stitch look of the designs. There's nothing frilly or doily looking in here , and most of the patterns are utilitarian. If you are looking for practical, modern looking crochet projects similar to Japanese crochet magazines, this is a good choice.

You will want to read this book like a novel over coffee or tea. Love Molla Mills' style and patterns, especially the tips for adding handles and grommets. Would be suitable for beginners or experienced crocheters alike.

Beautiful book, awesome photographs. I'd say some of the patterns are far more useful than others, but all crochet books are that way.

It's a lovely hardcover book aimed at making crochet appealing to men. A lot of the patterns aren't for garments, which is great if you are looking for a really lovely book about rugs and various bags. Love how much of her life and landscape is interjected into this book.

I really like Molla Mills designs and this book does not disappoint, the patterns are easy to follow and the results look just like her photos.

The best parts of this book are illustrated on Amazon. Good ideas.

I love Molla Mills’ works. She loves and she truly lives crocheting.This book is also about sewing and other crafting techniques. Molla Mills shows us that crocheting is no „granny thing“, crocheting is timeless, creative and brings people together. Me personally, I do not use this book to „reproduce“ her gorgeous products, I use it for inspiration to create my own projects. Five stars.Ich liebe Molla Mills’ Arbeiten. Più hipster rispetto al precedente volume che risultava più scandinavo. I progetti sono belli (la sacca da boscaiolo mi ha conquistata) e come ultimo c'è una specie di tutorial che produrre uncinetti in legno. Bizzarro e creativo! Anche questo in inglese, ma davvero facile.Amazon impeccabile!

Excelente libro con unos proyectos muy interesantes y atractivos. Hecho en falta más diagramas además de las explicaciones escritas. Fotos de gran calidad y un diseño y edición impecables.

This looks like a fun book, full of projects that are unusual but practical. The instructions are clear and detailed. There are personal touches throughout the book including photos of family, friends and pets. The author's brother shows yoga stretches to do after a crochet session and her father shows how to whittle a crochet hook - an advanced skill I think! I'm looking forward to making some of the projects in this original and stimulating book.

I love this book. Full of interesting and modern patterns, beautiful photos, and as always in Ms Mills's books, excellent instructions. Even my partner, who is NOT into crochet enjoyed looking through it with me. Highly recommend.
