World Political Map (Marco Polo Maps) Map – August 28, 2012

Very good quality, attractive, easy to read, and reasonably priced. I was frustrated trying to follow the travels of my Marine son, to strange or out-of-the-way places I couldn't quite locate. This map was a perfect way to familiarize myself with some of the lesser-known parts of the world!

This product is very good. I bought it to study for my AP Geography class, and it is unrivaled by the political maps of everyone I know in both size and information. The only caveat is that mountains and other geographical features (Major rivers excepted) are not labeled.

Really high quality glossy paper. My only complaint is that Antarctica is covered up by the flag section at the bottom of the map.

Excellent map of the world as it is today. Large size is perfect for both home and office. Great colours.

I picked this map because it's the only one I found with South Sudan on it. I also liked that the lines of longitude converge at the poles, suggesting that areas there are not as distorted as they are in Mercator projections. The map lists its projection as Van der Grinten which, while really only a minor improvement over Mercator, does at least indicate how map projections distort objects. Because the map repeats continuously to fill the whole area, it's easy to show how Alaska is one shape on the left and a different shape on the right. My only complaint is that it could be a little more detailed in terms of place names. Some minor place names are included where major place names are missing.

A great map for the wall. A little thinner than I was expecting, but is functional all the same. Some areas don't have many place names so a few more would make the map a little more useful, as well as showing Antarctica.

More ideal than I wanted! Definitely worth the price!

The most up to date countries are shown on a map beautifully created - something I would love to have hanging on the wall in my home

I love this map. Top quality and will be perfect for my rustic uneven walls. I will have to flatten it out first then up it will go.Even considering how far it had to come, England to Spain the postage was reasonable. Tonight it is going under the mattressand Tomorrow it will be ready. Thank you.

This is a great quality map. It is nicely finished on glossy paper and came in a sturdy tube. I've been using it in my grade 2 class and it has held up well! The students loved that it had world flags on the bottom. Really happy with my purchase.

ich kann die karte mit einem wasserlöslichen stift beschriften und verändern. so kann ich reisen gut planen und orte (mit herzen) markieren, die ich bereist habe. die antarktis wird mit allen länderflaggen bedeckt, aber mich stört das nicht.

Excellent map, large and informative for one of my classroom displays. Really pleased with it and reasonably priced.

Perfect size, nice and large enough to read the country names without having to put your face right up to it. The flags are a neat addition.
