Wonderful book for writing! Excellent paper quality; no ghosting or bleeding of ink, creamy white color and smooth surface. Page lines are spaced well, similar to college ruled. I prefer a softer cover to help the book lay flat easier, but could not find what I wanted in this size. This book doesn’t lay flat, especially when writing on the back side of the page; not a deal breaker but a bit annoying. I typically use blank pages to allow room for drawings but opted for lined this time. Cover color is darker than shown in pics. Leuchtturm is a bit pricey, but quality is worth the splurge.

The best journal/notebook I have ever used and i will bug over and over again. I am kind of picky about the notebooks I use but Leuchtturm makes the best. The 120g edition has thick buttery paper that doesn’t allow ink to bleed through. The a5 size is nice and portable but still provides plenty of room to write. The dotted variety is ideal for anyone that both writes and uses diagrams or graphs or drawings in their notebooks. The two ribbon bookmarks are great so you can quickly access multiple pages if you need to go back and forth between. The rubber band that closes the notebook is sturdy and has not broken even with heavy use. The cover is durable and thick, protecting the contents. And the back pocket is durable and doesn’t tear with repeated use.

This is my 10th Leucttrum Notebook I have added to my collection. I love the quality of paper and the notebook itself. It's perfect for my research and note-taking. My writing instruments (fountain pens, gel pens, rollerballs and pencils) all write beautifully on them. I would rather spend my money on this notebooks then to spend on anything else, they are definitely worth the investment!...

Excellent paper, doesn't bleed even if you accidentally spill fountain pen ink on it (NOT JOKING). It's also smooth and a dream to write on. I've bought 4 of these notebooks and each one has been of equally great quality.

If you are anything like me, meaning you currently have a million different tabs open on journals and paper quality and sizing and ruling and whatnot to make sure you are making the best decision, allow me to lay your concerns to rest. This journal is it. Research no further. If pricing is an issue, well you must be naive and new to this world because that is an unfortunate reality to things in this life: good quality is going to be more expensive. But that begs the question: “sure, I understand quality is expensive, but how can I be sure it actually IS quality and not robot spam reviewed band-wagoning hype?” That’s where you read the reviews and filter by most recent! And trust me when I tell you, this journal is incredible. The smell, the build quality, the paper quality, the way it sits on desks to the way it opens up. I see why this brand has fans. And I’m happy to join this cult. Let’s see how the journal fairs for the next year or so and I will be back to edit this review and expound upon it. 5 stars. Look feel all of it. It’s great. Stop your research and close all your tabs and get this one. Seriously, analysis paralysis can impede decision making. This is the right product and the right decision. Buy it. I’m so serious.

The notebook is great for daily note-taking and keeping you organized.

I din't know how cool a notebook could be before I got this one. There are so many pages I look forward to filling up. I love the table of contents in the beginning, and the paper is to die for. I have been using fountain pens recently and this paper is exceptional in terms of not bleeding through. The feel of the pen on paper is silky smooth. My one thing I don't particularly love is also because of the paper, it's so thick that you need to let the ink dry or else you'll smudge the ink. Double edged sword I guess!

I wanted a new journal for the start of the year and now going into April I feel like I can review. The quality is unlike any other journal I've ever bought... while being a bit on the pricey size for my liking I feel it was worth it. I like using a lot of gel pens and markers, and I don't see any bleed through which allows me to utilize each page to the full extent. So great paper thickness for the 120 gsm ruled. My pens glide so easily when I write its so satisfying. The hardcover is so beautiful and has held up so well. I think next year I will buy another one of these because I am truly amazed.

Wonderful journal of the very best quality. I love how the 120gsm paper is fountain pen friendly. I use it to write, not for art, and with a calligraphy pen 1.0 mm width, even black ink and a wet nib, does not show through. No ghosting or bleeding. An added bonus is the colour of the paper....not as creamy/dark as some of the more popular journals, and so my ink colours come off more true. The cover and elastic are sturdy and color coordinated. Jut beautiful.

Ich verwende ausschließlich diese Notizbücher als „Bullet Journal“ (nach Ryder Carol) und kaufe sie immer wieder gerne in der Version mit dem Punktgitter. Die nummerierten Seiten und das nicht zu dicke, aber auch nicht zu dünne Papier sind für meine Zwecke ideal. Ich mag, dass es so viele verschiedene Farben gibt.

Parfait pour le journaling. Le papier est d'une qualité folle et la couverture est sobre et solide. Ce journal s'adapte bien au collage et aux feutres à eau. Pas de ghosting/bleeding. Je recommande cette marque les yeux fermés. Edit : 3e journal que je commande, toujours aussi top la qualité ! J'ai juste un seul regret : il n'y a pas assez de choix de couleurs ! Je vais vite faire le tour :')

A first class notebook, at a reasonable price. The 120g paper is excellent quality, especially when writing with a fountain pen.
