MacroMeal - Vegan Complete Plant Based Protein

So I bought this to meal supplement and hope I can shed a few pounds. I also bought a smoothie book to make this a full blown meal. When you add a spinach a frozen banana some oats, water and ice it tastes like a genuine smoothie! I am so happy with this product because it’s non GMO, it tastes good mixed with other good food for you and I was full for the entire lunch window! I’ll be buying the vanilla and plain as well. I haven’t tried it by itself, but that wasn’t my goal when purchasing.

Provides veggie and fruit nutrition as well as protein. AND the flavor is really good.

It had almost no taste. I had to add four tablespoons of cocoa powder to the one serving in order to get any chocolate taste at all.I also couldn't find any vitamin information on the label. Because I'm a vegan, I need to make sure that I get vitamin b12. Since there was no information on the label, I looked it up in the Cronometer diet tracking app. Cronometer showed almost no vitamins in the product, and certainly no vitamin b12.The taste is just bland. It's not terrible.

The powder being vegan is easier to digest but I find that when mixing with water the powder never fully dissolves and leaves a grainy texture that I do not find particularly enjoyable. The flavor is not the best I’ve had but I will continue to use it because of it being a plant based protein.

I love this product for the protein and MCT - our bodies need both. MCT oilProvides medium chain triglycerides which are quickly metabolized into keystones in the liver. It has probiotics, fiber, greens and reds. This isn’t a vitamin, I take a separate multivitamin. The taste is great to me, I mix with almond milk in my personal blender. You could also add some cold coffee and ice. I am full for hours, I use this also for my ‘lunch’ sometimes (which can be 1 or 2 o’clock). I drink this first thing in the morning. And I feel great. I do intermittent fasting as well, which means I’m less hungry throughout the day and this gives me the nutrition I need. THIS ISN’T A McDONALDS MILKSHAKE. If it was, it wouldn’t have this nutritional value. I’ve bought this in vanilla and chocolate - I think the vanilla is more chalky. Again, this isn’t a milkshake. I’ve been buying this for years and I love it. When I have a road trip, I like to freeze one that I mixed and throw it in a cooler so can have that instead of stopping for fast food.

I love this. Don't expect for it to taste like chocolate, per say. Has a touch of "grassy" taste to it, and the cacao gives it a chocolate flavor. I mix it with 6 oz of hot water to dissolve it all, otherwise it floats at the top and doesn't dissolve well, then add 8 oz almond milk. Perfect for low carb or keto.
