Had to pull the harmonic balancer of an 05 Jeep Liberty to change the front main seal. Did the job well and very easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone.

Easy to use. Very good quality. Great price compared to others. My 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 3.8L V6 had a front crankshaft seal leak for a while. Usually just a drop or two overnight. A few days ago it started leaving softball size puddles. I had somewhat of a hard time finding what tool I needed for it and ultimately decided on this tool. The only very minor problem I had with it was that it did not directly fit onto the harmonic balancer as the arms are slightly too thick to fit the openings on the balancer while it's assembled. I had to push out the pins to remove the arms (easy) and fit each of them into the 3 openings then reattach them to the tool. The arm pins just pop in and out. If you're using this on a Dodge Grand Caravan or Chrysler Town & Country (and probably most vehicles), be sure to get an installation tool to replace the balancer. DO NOT USE THE BOLT. You risk stripping it out. I know people have done it successfully and I've seen people fail at it. It's not worth the risk. I made my own using hardware I had laying around from previous projects.

I purchased this puller to perform a timing belt change on a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country with a 4.0L engine. I looked at all of the pullers Amazon offers and while this one was a little more expensive, I've used OEM tools brand a few times with no issues. This time was no exception. The fingers of the tool have removable pins that allow you to insert the "arms" in tight spaces and then reconnect them after the puller is in place. This feature was a necessity on the 4.0L engine. Once in place with the fingers in place, the harmonic balancer came off with no issues. I've been a technician for over 40 years and I can say that this puller appears to be high quality.

Tool works perfect

I used this tool to remove a harmonic balancer pulley from a 6.0L LS engine. The pulley came off with ease when I got the jaws attached correctly. However, I'm not sure if the long shaft was bent before I got it, or I bent it during use. I had some issues getting the jaws to stay on the pulley for removal (my fault, not the tool). When I got them to stay, I noticed the puller wobbling as I removed the pulley. After the pulley was off, I examined the shaft, and sure enough, it was bent. I didn't use the tool other than how it was intended, so I'm not sure what happened. It still works, just wobbly.

Worked beautifully on a 2001 GMC Sierra 5.3. Used the last two biggest rods. Start out with the shorter one and fully remove with the longer one. I had seen some folks on here complain about their pushrod bending some, so I decided to do it bit by bit.

Good price, quick delivery and it worked fine to get a balance off an LS.
