Upgraded oven hood light
I used this to upgrade an oven hood lamp from Floursescent to LED. Very easy to install.Nice and bright and quiet.Note that some rewiring is needed since this version doesn't need nor accept ballast or starter.P.S.: I recommend using Wago connectors for the rewiring).

Bright & Beautiful
I had some fluorescent bulbs that were very old, but hardly used. I finally decided it was time to replace them. When I put them in, I was not expecting how bright they would be! These are very bright and the daylight version is beautiful. It’s so nice in comparison to the old that I’m actually using my lamp more often now. Worth every penny.

Great replacement, if you know what you are doing
Everything today, it seems, is switching over to LED, and fluorescent bulbs for your utility closet are no exception. This 18" bulb is a perfect replacement, and it could not be easier to install. The one thing you have to do is follow the directions, though. LEDs like this only need power on one side. So if you take out your old fluorescent bulb and simply slide this in, it won't work. Instead, you have to disable the ballast that's in the fixture. This is not difficult at all, BUT if you don't know what you are doing when it comes to electrical, or working with electric makes you nervous, find a pro. But if you're handy, and you know how to work with electric safely, this job is easy. The directions have all the details you need, and this can be done in under a half hour easily. Once installed, the light is nice and even, quick on, and bright. Price is good for sure, and this thing comes packed safely. In fact, the only reason it loses a star is because there was too much packaging and we missed the directions the first time around. All in all, this is a recommended buy as a replacement bulb.

Follow the directions...
LED replacements worked great. Just follow the directions as described. I had to remove and rewire an old medicine cabinet in a spare bathroom that had an AC outlet and an additional power switch, that I eliminated. All good!

LED Compatible with Florescent Fixture
This LED tube is nice and bright. Color temp is bright white, not soft white, but, since it's in a closet, that's nt a problem. It has the same 2 pins on each end as the florescent tube it replaces, so the same fixture (tombstones) can be used, although the fixture needs to be rewired to take out the ballast. It comes with easy to understand instructions as to how to rewire both for transformer and solid-state ballast. I was able to rewire in about 5 minutes without needing any additional wire or wire nuts.

Exchanging the florescent bulb to this LED, requires an electriann
To use LED bulb in my fixture, that your service department assured me could happen, at no time was I informed I would have to rewire said fixture. I know zero about electricity and understand less making me fearful of burning the house down. Thank you for making the return, easy and painless.

These are probably good but they are DC not AC
I wired them up like I did my other replacement florescent and put one in and instantly blew. I wasn't sure what happened until I saw the voltage on the back of the light. I don't think the description is clear that this NOT FOR AC replacements.

Good way to upgrade old fluorescent fixtures. Wiring skills needed.
These are about as bright as the lamps they replaced, and I like the wider color spectrum. It is important to know that you have to open the fixture and bypass the ballast. If you don't have the skills for this, you will need an electrician, in which case you might want to just replace the whole fixture.A feature I like is that you can rotate the tube to aim it where you want the light to shine.
