I used some InstaTrim in a quick powder room refresh but didn’t have this tool for the installation and used the back and handle of a wooden spoon. I thought I’d done a pretty good job. I ordered more InstaTrim to really finish our little room, and ordered this tool as well. I went back over the original installation as I wait for the rest of the trim to come in, and it really makes a difference. That little wheel is designed to sit in that groove of the trim and my original install is better than it was, for sure. I’ll be keeping this helper as I buy and install more InstaTrim around the house - it just makes things look finished!

The InstaTrim applicator tool does a good job of pushing the self-adhesive trim into the gaps for a smooth and even appearance. It's made of lightweight plastic and is easy to use.

Helped apply caulk tape quickly and with greater ease. Pricey, but felt that this would help to proved more uniform pressure compared to my hands, a spoon, etc.

This tool did what it should, but I found that I had to hold it together while applying pressure or the plastic handle would come apart.

I didn't want to spend the extra money for this tool when buying the product but am glad that I did. After reading reviews and looking at the pics of finished projects I was convinced that this tool was needed. The trim caulk is very soft and pliable, which makes for a nice fit into the seams using the tool. The tool "sets" the trim into the crevice without leaving indentations from fingers or pressing too hard with something else to set it in place. Highly recommend this tool and for me it was worth every penny. We used it in the RV bath around the countertop to wall seam and the flooring to wall seams and it looks better than the factory original!

I bought the tool and the Insta Trim in a bundle pack. I can't imagine applying the Insta Trim without the tool, so I don't have a reference point. Insta Trim is not cheap, so I wanted it done right the first time. It came out better than expected, and the tool made easier than expected. It looks great in the bathroom.

I used it on a bathtube shower combo. It looks good and for ghe most part easy to install.
