Copic Classic Alcohol Markers, 12pc Warm Gray Set (Discontinued model: EAN 4511338002193)

Bought this set to replace my last warm greys and the overall marker build is perfect as per usual for Copics. I was, however, expecting a broad nib and brush nib--these markers have a broad nib and a precision pen nib instead. I typically use the brush nibs for my work, but these precision nibs do offer a nice level of detail for smaller projects.Will likely purchase the Copic Sketch warm greys to have the brush nibs as well, but I'm still pleased with this set.

Excellent set of markers, layer beautifully (almost like watercolor if done properly and quickly) on the right paper (Strathmore Drawing paper, both white and toned, tone gives you the ability to use less ink). The right paper is important to get the smoothest transitions when layering. There are a number of videos online on how Adam Hughes works them- highly recommended to those who want to learn one very effective method of coloring with these wonderful markers.

The Copic 12-Piece Warm Gray Set is a high-quality product that should last for years. It has a beautiful tonal range and is ideal for shadows and blending.

Copic markers are great and these were no exception. The markers were delivered on time and just as described by the seller. They were a gift for my boyfriend and he was thrilled to receive them. He pulled them out right away and I didn't see him again for a few hours...I think they have his seal of approval!

Copic markers may be a bit more expensive than Design2 or Prismacolor, but they are hands down the best on the market for illustration. They use archival ink that does fade or yellow over time and they are also refillable! If you are looking for a serious set of markers, and you can afford them, this is the brand for you.

Unfortunately, I missed the image in the product description and didn't realize the nib was NOT the brush-like copic marker. I am a huge fan of the brush-like nib and thought this price was a bargain for 12-piece markers, and didn't realize that they weren't the ones I wanted. However, I am still a huge fan of this brand and will be repurchasing the brush-like nibbed markers in the future!

Hallo,ich habe die Marker hauptsächlich zum Rendern von Autozeichnungen bestellt.Hierbei muss gesagt werden, dass der Farbverlauf sehr gut ist. Die Alkoholabgabe ist schön gleichmäßig, daher kein schmieren oder ausgefranste Kanten. Copic Qualität eben :-)Was mir eher weniger gut gefällt, ist die Tatsache, dass die Marker nicht kompatibel mit Ball Pen, bzw. Kugelschreiber-tinte sind. Hier reagieren die Marker und die Kugelschreibertinte färbt sich violett. Sehr schade, hier sind die AD Marker von Chartpak besser.Wer vlt. Geld sparen möchte, sollte zu Shinhan Markern greifen, diese verhalten sich sehr ähnlich den Copic Marker, sind aber 50% billiger.Fazit: Sehr gute Marker, allerdings nicht kompatibel mit Kugelschreiber.
