Glass canning jars almost always have a very large brand name such as "MASON" or "BALL" appearing on the side of the jar. It is part of the "pour" of the glass, not something that can be removed, and the brand name takes up much of the side of the jar. Among some collector communities, when a manufacturer permanently sticks their name on a product in such a large obnoxious way, it is called "billboarding", and most consider this to detract greatly from the appearance of the item. These jars have ZERO "billboarding". There is no brand name, large or small, stuck on these glass jars. If you are a collector looking for glass jars to display anything: these are the jars you want. Or even if you are just using canning jars for the expected purpose of actually canning and preserving food; it is still nice to be able to see your preserved items clearly, rather than seeing them through the distortion of a gigantic billboarded company name.
