If you're looking for a way to extend your reach and get good sound reproduction from your phone, this microphone withdo the trick. This microphone is easy to setup as I tested it on my Iphone 5S and was able to replicate sound recording theaudio from my laptop as I was listening to a college football game. The audio produced from the microphone was crisp andclear and I couldn't tell the difference between live radio or a recording. I also tested the microphone making a several cellphone calls to my home landline (to someone in the next room) and the audio matched the sound quality of a telephone call. Themicrophone cord measures almost 5 ft from tip to tip. Metal clips are provided so you can clip this to a person's clothing ifyou need to interview someone and not feel like you need to shove your phone in their face to record. I think this microphonehelps record audio better than using the built in microphone since the case I'm using it a thicker protective phone casewhich reduces some of the volume. The microphone sponge sleeves help reduce some of the background noise too. If you're lookingfor good sound reproduction, this microphone would be a nice choice. In the box, you get the microphone, instructions, warrantycard, 2 sponge sleeves, 2 metal clips, adapter and a carrying bag. The media could not be loaded.  First off - I was provided this product in exchange for a review. That's important for me to share, because it'd be important for me to know when reading a review.Second, I'm not super great at assigning star ratings to things that are so simple - if they work, they work. That's why I do video reviews - you can get a direct comparison between my phone alone and my phone with the mic. Plus I can go over the aesthetics of the thing more easily.Check the video for my full review, but bottom line, this thing worked pretty well.Of note for vanilla Android users - at least currently, Android's stock Camera app will not pull audio from the mic by default, so you won't be able to use it. That said, if you download something like OpenCamera (It's free) that uses the camera API, you can set it to use external microphones in the video settings. That's what I did to get it working.As far as I can tell, audio quality is far better with the mic. It's a little less treble-y, but I assume anyone interested in recording audio knows how to fix that in post anyway. That said, it is much clearer and it sounds better overall.I haven't tried it in anything but my Nexus 6p, but I was pleased with its performance.

**UPDATED EDIT**My original review noted that this mic would not work with my laptop, as it was not very clear at the time that this only worked on one-jack setups. I have since acquired an adapter that allows me to use this mic to finally test it out, and it's a fantastic microphone. I use this for skype calls for my small business and personal conversations as well. I was worried at first that it would have to speak louder with it clipped to my shirt but after a lot of testing I come out extremely clear even when trying to keep quiet. Great customer service from the company as well. Seems nicely constructed and the packaging was fantastic. Even includes an extra clip and mic cover. Nice unobtrusive microphone to use that doesn't take up desk space.

The sounds isn't as good as I was hoping but it's decent enough. You will hear yourself very clearly, though the level will be off for a while til you figure out how to take with it on and wear to put it. It picks up EVERYTHING, when you pin it on if you move even a little the ruffling of your shirt will be caught, so make sure that you put the mic somewhere fabric won't move around much.

It definitely amplified my beatbox. I took sample with my I phone and yes it is great to post my beatbox video on snapchat or whatever.However it is not like the greatest mic on the earth. Of course, it is cheap and that is what I wanted!My expectation was slightly higher than the outcome(although I am using this with pleasure), so I rated this as 3 stars(to mediate)

Good product. It doesn't work with my laptop for some reason but that is probably because I forgot to buy a special conjoiner for the product. It works well with my iPad and cellphone. The sound quality is a great for the cost. It's not as clear as I had hoped it would be but besides expectations, this was good product for a good price.

I produce live facebook shows and sell them to clients. The microphone makes a huge difference. Clients are paying and need to be heard all the time and this mic does the trick. I have had it cut out a few times which is why I give it a three. Check back in a few months and that may come up.

Delivered promptly. Good price. Two windscreens provided. Nice touch. Two CLIPS provided. Nice touch too. Clips are tough to put on. Had to use a bit of force (but had a second in case I broke it - I didn't.). 4 connectors on plug not useful for computers and needs an adapter. I bought one. Plugged it in to the computer. FANTASTIC - better than every other free microphone I have had laying around for years. This is what you should buy if you need a mike for your phone or computer.
