Only deficit is the front zipper which leaks rain water inside, therefore leaving your chest area drenched.

Just received this a few minutes ago. It's lightweight, fits well, has a hood with draw strings to tighten and a zipper to secure the neck portion. The Water resistance seems to be near perfect but may not last beyond one or two monsoons, having said that, my opinion is that it will be fairly protective and Water resistant while it lasts... the zipper is smooth too. Please note these are my immediate impressions. Will update more after a few days of use. Until then, I'd recommend it given it's portability, weight, hood, fit and packet to carry around. Quick drying too it seems.

but not useful for heavy rain

The very purpose for which it has been bought is lost. The water seeps in. There's no resistance. The first three days were super cool, but then it lost its integrity. That too in Pune rains haha.What's good about the product. It's comfortable. Perfect coverage for you and the bag. Colour is exactly as shown in the picture.Overall, if you're looking for style. Go for the product. But, if you're looking for water resistance, drop it.

It is a boon while riding a scooter. Also, it is very convenient to lift it and use pockets of your dress. No need of worrying about phones and wallets getting wet. My little kid fits into the backpack space while riding a scooter and she is completely covered by it. There's one thing however. In heavy rains, it doesn't work that good. It light rains, it works very well.

Worth buy. I brought it for my son. He is satisfied with the quality.

The poncho body material is good.It dries pretty fast and gets squeezed easily enough to store in the pouch that is given along.However, there is a gap between the zipper and the hood side. Water easily enters from there, especially when you're wearing a helmet.Had to put a clip-on button in that spot to get it closed.Second, the zipper is not waterproof. So, water does seep through it a bit. There it takes time to dry compared to the rest of the poncho.
