I have become the eco-gremlin of repairs
Bought this to fix one innocent broken item and now I skitter around the house at night looking for injured plastic to save. Laundry basket handle? Resurrected. Cracked bins? Reborn. Busted 4-wheeler fender that was one wobble away from retirement? Back on active duty like nothing happened. This thing heats up fast, the staples sink in nicely, and the repairs are way stronger than I expected. Once you get the hang of it, it’s wildly satisfying — like giving your stuff little plastic stitches instead of sending it to the landfill abyss. There is a tiny learning curve and you do need to pay attention because the hot tip is hot (shocker!), but after a couple practice runs it’s smooth sailing. Pro tip: trim the staple ends and reinforce stress points while you’re in there. Cleaner look, stronger repair, maximum gremlin efficiency. If you enjoy saving money, saving plastic, and feeling like a chaotic good repair wizard doing favors for Mother Earth, this tool is absolutely worth it. Reduce, reuse, re-fuse. Gremlin approved.

This thing works really good and is alot of fun to use.
Honestly this thing is super cool! This was my first time ever using something like so. I was repairing my quads plastics and it did such a good job repairing and making it strong again. Its really fun to use and satisfying seeing the time and effort you put into it with the cool patterns it has. I will say the only complaint I do have is that it doesn't come with enough S shaped staples. Sure you get 200 but I ran through all of them which to be fair was a very big project BUT all the other staples just are only used for very specific breaks. The thinner one with little wiggles works good but I feel the S is definitely the better of the 4. Oh and it gets very very hot very fast! Use a fan or something while doing it as well so you dont inhale any of the smoke from the melted plastic. I'd buy it again and the people I showed were impressed and fascinated how it works.

The Bumper Resurrection Device: Jesus Would Be Jealous
I hit a deer, cried for three seconds, then remembered I’m cheap. This yellow plastic welder showed up like a tiny superhero with a hot stapler. Ten minutes later my cracked bumper looked like it had a minor disagreement with a shopping cart instead of a full-on wildlife collision. The hot staples melt in perfectly, the gun heats up faster than my ex’s temper, and it works on basically every plastic part I’ve thrown at it. Zero leaks, zero regrets, and the insurance company still has no idea. Five stars because my wallet and I are laughing all the way to not-the-body-shop. Buy it, love it, hide the evidence.

Easy to use, pays for itself, so satisfying…
Works really well for plastic repair here and there. Fixed a few kids sleds and a big push scoop snowshovel. Actually pretty satisfying to use. Not sure about all the accessories and there might be better models if you use it a lot, but you can’t go wrong for a starter kit. Absolutely paid for itself the first time I used it.

Would recommend for short projects
Works great for short cutting projects and plastic welding. The 2nd time I used it was for a larger project welding my taillights coarse after making them clear. Towards the end of the second one the gun stopped working and after letting it sit for a while it worked again for about 30 minutes and then not at all again. I reached out to the manufacturer and they sent me another one overnight to finish my project. Absolutely amazing customer service.

Precisely as described
Works precisely as described! Heats fast, and got the job completed as expected. Used to repair a crack in plastic bumper, as well as patch a small hole in the bumper. Everything needed is contained in a nice zippered pouch (minus dremel/disc sander to smooth). Would highly recommend!

Absolutely thrilled that I found this
After 'discovering' this on AliExpress and finding it interesting, I slept on it a bit. More recently, our refuse container developed a split in the side - one of the big trash containers that are robotically picked up and dumped by hydraulic arm. While considering methods of patching or repairing the crack, I remembered this tool. Thankfully, it was available on Amazon (AliExpress can take weeks or months to arrive) and priced fairly. I ordered this one as it would arrive the soonest. Zero regrets! This thing was a breeze to figure out and use. Within minutes of opening the box, I had the first few wires embedded in the plastic can, and was well on the way to securing the split. I can't stress how simple this tool is to use. You simply insert the chosen wire into the tool, press the trigger and gently press the wire into the plastic where you need it. The wire heats up very quickly (like within a second or so) and I had no difficulty controlling the placement, etc. Once the wire is in place, you release the trigger and allow just a moment (>1 second) for the plastic to cool enough to reharden, then pull away the tool. I placed about 40 wires into the rather long crack, and it held firm. After that step, I used a pair of wire cutters to snip off the leads for each wire. I will say this one my only gripe about the tools included in this set. The wire cutters included are not 'flush cut' style cutters, so you are left with 1mm of wire sticking out of the repaired surface. I have an array of such tools, so I had a flush-cut set of clippers which made quick work of the excess. Due to the need for a really smooth surface inside the refuse container (to prevent ripped trash bags), I opted to use a rotary tool with a grinder bit and file down the sharp edges of wire. As a final step, I attached the smoothing tip, included in the set, to the tool and used it to gently massage the plastic around the crack and smooth it into place to 'seal' the seam. While mostly cosmetic, it should also help prevent moisture and odor from escaping the container. In other applications, like repairing something you intend to 'finish' with paint or other treatment, this step is probably a necessity. Again, it was surprisingly intuitive and easy, with a shallow learning curve. I am frequently impressed when I discover a new tool which makes a task exceptionally easier than without that tool, and this is definitely one of those tools. Without it, my options were limited to some type of adhesive to attempt to close the crack, or trying to fit a sheet of thin metal to the outside and secure it in place with fasteners like screws or rivets. While it would work, the damage would be very visible and present further potential for problems. Using this tool, I was able to repair the damage in a way which is only noticeable on close inspection.

Work well, made an easy car bumper repair in question of minutes. Got a big ass racoon at night, it won't bring the parts that I have lost on the side of the road but it is much more stronger. Buffed the pins down with a sandpaper wheel grinder after.

This would be a 5 star, as I absolutely love this tool! Just takes a quick modification to be perfect, and then you can finally repair all those broken plastics! The thing is....when doing lots of melting/smoothing with the spreader tip, the unit will overheat, and takes some time to cool off (10-15mins) So...remove all the screws in body, carefully pull apart, look at how everything is supposed to be seated as you pull it apart so you can put it together right. Then cut away excess plastic as desired from body to create venting. Then put back together. You should now be able to use the tool 4x longer, and when it overheats, set it down in front of a fan, and in 1min, you're ready to go! See pic for what I did.
