What are the thicknesses of the blades, 1/16" or 1/8"?

Main blade is 2-7/8"(73mm) x 11/16"(17.5mm) x 5/64"(2mm)

Is anyone besides me fed up with getting knives made in china that cannot be opened? so far i have three rr knives i cannot use!

I have over 30 (thirty) Rough Rider knives, all but one or two are multi-blades All the blades on mine average around a "5" pull; about the same as a 92/93MM Victorinox SAK. I've always been impressed with the consistent pulls on the Rough Rider's I've gotten Contact Smokey Mountain knife works, and let them know you're having the problem. SMKW owns the brand, and has a lifetime warranty (and last I knew, a "Satisfatction Guaranteed" warranty.) on the Rough RIder knives. They will take care of you.

What is the blade length from tip to handle. In my state that's how the measure for legal length (under 3")

When I take a ruler to the large, sheep's foot blade I come up with 2 15/16" along the blade's edge. The cutting edge is only 2 1/2", but the entire blade (tip to handle) is less than 3". The pen knife blade is much shorter (2 7/16"). So, you should be fine. I have been very impressed with the Rough Rider knives and I really like this one in particular. I hope you like it.
