I followed the instructions in the package to reset my code from 0000. The lock is now closed and won’t open using my new code or the factory setting

Try going to either the factory setting 0000 or your new code and move each number individually up and down 1 to 2 numbers then back to where they were. as you move them, try to open the lock. For example, if the new code is 4444, try 4445 then 4446 then 4443 then 4442, go back to 4444 then try 4454... It might work
