Better then balsa filters
Used it every bowl of tobacco it’s very efficient in absorbing any juices from tobacco leaving you a good pleasurable smoke at least 2 bowls of tobacco

These are great..require a slightly harder "draw"..
So far, these filters are ok..they are just a bit shorter than Medico filters. They have very small black charcoal pellets inside, capped on both sides with a small cap, each cap has 3tiny air holes. When I use these, they do seem to cause a little harder draw than the Medico filters, but they do seem to effectively filter more of the harshness of the smoke..just a bit more effectively than the Medico filters tubes.I will buy these again.(6mm size)

Works ok
These tend to run a little long and don't fit my pipes well. On some of them I can force it in but the filter tears when being removed.

Best 6mm filter I’ve come across
Fits well and filters well! If you’re doing a comparative search for 6mm filters I would put it way above Dr Grabow pipe filters. I bought both and this one actually filters the smoke. Worth the money because you’ll actually use all of them!

Cancer in your filter, not in your mouth.
I can actually feel the cancer viruses collecting in the filter and madly vibrating their frustration.

Cuts back on flavor, but healthy-er
I have a Rossi 6mm filter pipe and normally use the triangle-shape balsa filters. I usually smoke 1/3 to 1/2 bowls, good for about an hour of thinking. They do good enough at absorbing moisture, especially for the wetter blends, but figured that I'd try these to see how they went. They really do a great job at cutting back on harshness and bitterness and once you get used to the draw you find that you don't have to pack quite as tightly at the bottom of the bowl. That said, they do pull out a bunch of flavors from black cavendish and some from sweet virginias (those have been the only two I've tried this far). I noticed that I had a tendency to get the pipe hotter the first time I tried one, but once the draw became familiar is was easier to keep a cooler coal. Honestly, I think these things work well enough that you could unconsciously inhale if you were not paying much attention -- it's that much smoothness. I don't know if I'll use these for every blend, but they may be just the thing for more harsh and peppery tobaccos that I can just barely accommodate. Further experimentation is needed. Overall a good value, but still a noticeable reduction in flavor over balsa or no filter at all.
