Great furniture polish, scratch cover!
I recently got some dark walnut furniture out of storage, and it needed some serious TLC. Not only was it suffering scratches from before, but it was definitely showing signs of having been stored too long. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a professional restoration effort, so I decided to see what I could do for it on my own. That's where this product came into play. The wood had lost its luster and was even showing some slight signs of surface mold, so I dabbed a bit of this Old English on a cloth and attacked a panel to see what would happen. It was like magic. The wood came back to life, the dimmed parts I suspected were mold disappeared, and the whole panel looked rich and alive and happy. I was pretty shocked, to be honest, so I thought there must be another shoe to drop. I mean, how can this one product breathe new life into old moldy stored wood items with one application? Can't happen. So I waited a few hours and then went and checked the panel fully expecting it to be dried out and dull. But no, it was still beautiful. Hmph, I said to myself, it'll be back gasping for air in the morning. But nope, it was still gorgeous. So I waited a week. Still lovely. Okay, it was time to do the whole piece, plus every other piece that I had rescued from nearly ten years of storage. The results are stunning. Sure, I used a lot of this product, but I had a lot of pieces, and they are all gorgeous now, with new life and shine. As for the scratch coverage, one piece did have a pretty significant scratch (almost a gouge, really) that this product was not really up to disappearing, but it's now much less noticeable, and all the surface scratches and discoloring are completely corrected. I couldn't be more pleased. I will never not have this product in my home. It's a life-saver for wood furniture, no matter how old or neglected it was before being rescued and brought back to life.

The best product for wood restoration and upkeep!
I have quite a bit of "vintage" wooden furniture, and I also do sanding and refinishing a lot. There is nothing better than this on medium and dark wood! I've been using it for decades since I first discovered it. It covers scratches and scuffs great, and on freshly sanded wood surfaces, it's all you need! The wood soaks it up and restores it without covering up the patterns of the wood. It's a must-have! A bottle lasts a long time (unless you spill it, which is difficult because it has a plastic top under the cap). The price is well worth it for everything it does. I always have a 2nd bottle on hand, just in case they stop making it- which seems to happen every time I love a product. Keep rags on hand (old t-shirt pieces work best) to apply it. Just in case, don't wear white or nice clothes when using it- it stains, and I wouldn't even wash anything it got on, except in a wash load with very dark colors. I wish they would make this in a lighter wood color also.. They make a clear-yellowish one, but so far nothing for medium wood. I mix the dark and clear for those pieces, but that is really hard to do, cause the safety caps don't come off! Try this- you will never consider varnish again!

Happy with results
For some reason it took quite a while to receive this. Not sure why but when it arrived I immediately used it and it was just what I expected. It covered all the scratches and was simple to apply. I did a couple coats to make sure it soaked in. Very happy with the results .

Good polish, for solid wood..
This stuff will actually take the finish off of wood furniture that isn't solid wood. I don't even know if anything is made with solid wood anymore other than very high end furniture so I have little use for it as everything non-vintage that I own is particleboard. Also doesn't dispense enough product and, at least in my case, doesn't cover scratches, work as a stain, or add shine/luster. If your purpose is to cover dings or restore color you're gonna need to buy the stuff in the can that has formaldehyde in it and can only be used outdoors because of the fumes. Otherwise find something that specifies it can be used on all furniture, not just solid wood.

Old English Scratch Cover for Dark Wood
75144 Scratch Cover for Dark Woods, 8 oz Bottle, Wood Polish. Cost is $6. This is one of most impressive product I bought on Amazon. It turns really faded and surface wear wood back to its beautiful luster. The way it brings out the hidden patterns and whorls is amazing. I drop some the product into an old toothbrush to get into the smallest crevice. I make sure it has been completely covered and I let it soak in for two or three days and wipe off most of the liquid. It completely covers the scratch. It’s so easy to apply. It’s lasts forever. Once in a while I add some more to bring out that beautiful shine. It appears to be water resistant. Check out my photos. Those are two small night stands.

Worked better than stain in some situations
This product worked so nicely for refreshing dark wood. I also had some touchups that I tried to do with actual stain on one of our antique doors and the stain was not able to penetrate through areas that had frequent hand touches – because this is an oil the color actually could penetrate very easily into the wood and it worked great to blend the color back to original. Also love that there is no odor so, unlike stain, this is something that you can use inside The house very easily.

Works well to hide light scratches on dark wood
This product works very well on dark wood surfaces. It helps minimize the appearance of light scratches and scuffs, making the wood look refreshed and more even in color. Application is easy—just apply with a soft cloth and wipe off the excess. It doesn’t completely remove deep scratches, but it definitely improves the overall look. Great for quick touch-ups and maintenance.

An oldie but a goodie
This is a great furniture polish/scratch cover, and I have used it successfully to rejuvenate antique and vintage pieces that are not in great shape, but not bad enough to require a full refinishing. It does a good job of rehydrating old wood and providing a durable and long-lasting sheen. And it's very effective as a furniture polish for pieces that don't really require the scratch cover but could do with some enhancing of the color. I will be primarily using this product as a furniture polish for newer pieces, as it offers a lot of protection, especially from liquids - water beads up on the surface and can be easily wiped up. This is an old-fashioned product - it was my grandfather's secret for making old furniture look new again - but it works just as well today as it did for my grandfather.

Non funziona
Semplicemente non funziona anzi rende i graffi più scuri e nel mio caso più visibili e non so come rimuoverlo.
