I cannot recommend this enough
I cannot recommend this enough. We have a 250 mbps internet service in our house. Unfortunately, the wifi router is in one corner of the house. On the other side of the house, internet access was abysmal. I purchased this in conjunction with the Actiontec Bonded MoCA 2.0 Ethernet to Coax Adapter (ECB6200S02). The result? AMAZING. Set up was simplicity in itself. The WPS function did not work for me, either, but it was easy to manually change the SSID/password to match the wifi router. We now get 230 mpbs on the far side of the house, and also, get about 180 mpbs in our garage, whereas previously, we got nothing. The manual for this unit is lacking somewhat, but overall, the results are phenomenal. Highly recommended!

Passed expectations!
Purchased from Amazon good price and return policy. Package includes a proper diagram how to connect everything better than the diagram on their website and easier other tutorials Ive watched. Really a child could do this. Router and Adapter live in front room of house and the Extender is at least 70 - 80 feet away in a detached garage in the back yard with (coax cable outlet). Wifi speed test indicated maximum strength. Only glitch....to sign on to the actiontec network...the instructions tell you to look on the back of the device where you find the word Password “admin”. The password is NOT “admin”. The Password is actually located a little lower beside the WEP or ( W??) It has your typical mix of letters and numbers. I’m very pleased and glad I don’t have to mess around with more silly antennas or boosters. One last tidbit. I guess you need to call your cable co. To find out if your router is Moca compatible and I don’t know what that means but I’m with Shaw. Sincerely jojo

Works great after doing a firmware update
When I first got the WCB6200Q, it would not connect to my MoCA network, even though other MoCA adapters I had worked just fine. I returned the unit thinking it was defective. The replacement had the same problem. I contacted support and they recommended that I update the firmware. After I connected to the device via the ethernet port using the devices IP from the connected devices list on my router, I was able to apply the firmware update I'd downloaded from the Actiontec support website. The device started working immediately after the firmware update completed. It's been working great since! Wifi speeds approaching 1 Gbps as expected and a strong signal in that part of the house now.

Product works great but you may run into trouble if you are using a ECB6250 (See below)
The WCB6200Q Moca2.0 Extender is NOT officially compatible with ECB6250 Bonded Moca2.5 Ethernet adapters. But there's some tweaks to make it work, proceed at your own risk.If you run into these problems you may not need to return this yet if you know your way around things. So first off I run ActionTec / Screenbeam products at our home. There's a very specific reason for this and its because Mesh Networking and Running Ethernet in this home would be very difficult and expensive to play around with to get good results. Using these Moca networking adapters has been a god send. The hardware you get is solid stuff runs great.ActionTec / Screen Beams documentation is just really lacking in key areas tbh.The basics are all there but the basics do not always give you the tools you need to troubleshoot. I had to dig for this information. If you are entry level into IT or networking then this product should be plug and play with the older Action Tec MOCA 2.0 adapters, which you need MOCA networking over COAX for this to work of course. For the Tech Literate or Curious:If you are not getting a Coax connection established to your WiFi Extender you should find the following information a godsend. To access the GUI of the WCB6200Q you need to connect an Ethernet cable to the device and your PC.Set a static address on your PC to 192.168.44.1. The admin login info and IP to enter the GUI is printed on your WiFi extender. If you are trying to use these with the newer ECB6250 adapters you MUST make specific changes in the web admin GUI for the ECB6250 adapter. If you do not do this the COAX connection light (second light from the top) will never turn on, you will never get a connection to these adapters. To do this you need to enter the GUI on the ECB6250. Connect your adapter to your PC with a network cable, it can not be connected to the Coax.Set a static IP on your computer to 192.168.44.1ECB6250 Admin GuiIP 192.168.144.200User: adminPass: actiontecYou need to check off only D-Band LOW for the scan list for MOCA configuration.Save the settings and reboot the adapter. When you turn on the WCB6200Q allow a some time for the unit to fully boot and a Coax connection should establish within a few minutes. This basically forces the unit to talk on MOCA 2.0, from what I gathered online this allows the COAX connection to establish to the WCB6200Q.The reason all of this incompatibility is happening is because the Broadcom chipset used on this WiFi extender product does not play nice with the new chip sets being used. Broadcom stopped development with MOCA for now.PS please do not forget to get your self a MOCA point of entry filter for your main cable line off the street if you have not done so yet :)Your WelcomeProduct is amazing though its running great for me, documentation is very lacking they can do better I think.
