I bought this go board for my mom and I to play after we had lost ours while moving. We had a traditional wood one with ceramic or porcelain pieces but it wasn’t easy to transport and they would chip easily. This one is nice because when you play, the pieces don’t move a lot Bc of the magnet so you don’t get messed up Incase you knock the board. It’s a fairly big board too with lots of playing room. And I like that it’s foldable for easy storage. Overall, I’m excited to use it.

You can play Go or Five-in-a-Row. It's suitable for family games, and children enjoy playing it and learn to think and use their brains.

I'm not as impressed with the sturdiness and value (I paid $30) as some of the other reviewers. I like the game, like that the pieces are magnetic, like that the board folds up to hold the buckets of stones. However, like most people, I want to store the game board in the original box to protect it ( it will be stored in a stack of games in the closet). Unlike most board games, the exterior cardboard box is SUPER flimsy. More of a throw-away type package than one you'd store a board game in. The plastic of the folding playing board is acceptable-- not amazing, not terrible. I feel like a fairer price for this would be around $20-24.

This is a great table game, very happy with the quality for the price. Easy to pack for when you travel and the magnetic board and pieces are a plus if you are on a long car ridevand don't want your kids using electronics.
