I got the 88 key Kross 2, which is weighted keys. Feels really close to an actual piano. The built in sounds are great, the piano sounds aren’t amazing but still decent. The organ sounds are actually amazing and you can add that vibrato with a quick flick of a switch. I play live shows and this is a great, affordable keyboard and you can’t beat the price. I also use it as a controller in my Studio One recording program. I’m very pleased and think you will be too!

It worked well for a few uses, then it consistently powered down right after boot (from google searched this is a known issue) which made it unusable. I contacted support about this and they misinterpreted the issue, and told me to take it to a Korg Service Center. I pushed back as the nearest service center is 300+ miles away and they misinterpreted the issue. They then told me to reinstall the firmware. I did using the link and method they suggested, which after much additional research as to how to do it as their directions were incorrect, I was able to get the keyboard to read the media and update. The image they provided bricked the keyboard (another known issue) and now it won't even boot. The only recourse left is to drive or ship it 300+ miles to the nearest Korg support center. Customer support showed zero compassion or regard for the customer in my case. No offer to pay for shipping of this clearly faulty instrument or to help set up a service appointment. Basically they say if you have an issue you are on your own to figure out how to get it to the service center. Maybe your experience would be better if you purchase it from a local store and went through them? My research indicates that I am not alone in this. These keyboards are not reliable, with multiple instances of failure and the service is not customer friendly. I would strongly suggest a Yamaha over this, my colleagues who have dealt with them have had nothing but great things to say about their support on the rare instances that they break.

Shipment fast and well packaged. There seems to be 3 levels of usage skill: 1-Out of box, you can get play immediately. 2-With a little experimenting, reading, you can get good combinations, sound, interface to other devices. 3-Pro level utilizing full features will require time, patience and practice. I dont think anyone will ever use ALL the features. I just received, but Korg Kross 2 88 offers hours of relaxing personal enjoyment, especially during covid. Will use for my weekend warrior band and recordings. Appears to offer enough options for medium level professional performance.
