Simple game with gorgeous artwork
Really enjoy this game. It is simple to pick up and learn. While there isn't a great deal to it, the mechanics of the game are intriguing to me as far as how the cards play out in front of you and to the table. The artwork however is what draws me to play it over and over again. Quick filler game between long ones for sure on game nights. I definitely recommend grabbing the expansions too as each one gives you different ways to manipulate the cards according to their stories (i.e. Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood) I will also mention that unlike other games where you can combine all expansions if you like, with Dark Tales you would simply add 1 expansion when playing along with the base game, and then change them out when you wish to play a different one.

Good quality artwork, game is casual and easy to learn but still offers a challenge even though there is a randomised factor.Good fun for quick games. It was smooth with 3 people.

This game is pretty simple to pick up. The game was a bit dull with no expansions. Perhaps the expansions make it better? I really like the drawings on the cards. Kudos to the artist!

This game is just plain fun. It's a game that is fast paced, easy to learn without being too simple, and has a lot of replay value. The card artwork and build quality (imagine tarot-style cards) are fantastic.You get a lot of "bang for your buck" with this one. It's not too expensive, doesn't take too long to play, is great with just 2 players, is great with 3-4 players.
