Self-Esteem: Seeing Ourselves as God Sees Us (LifeGuide Bible Studies)

This was a nice change in focus for a Sunday School class of adults. Long answers in the back gives more thought to what the author is conveying in the chapter. I really love the Lifeguide Bible Studies!

Using this with a middle school youth group. Excellent material that debunks the popular " everybody gets a throphy" mentality. All the IVP titles are worthwhile.

Haven't used it yet, but what I have looked at seems very good.

For me, this is the perfect Bible Study. It takes about 30 minutes to complete each lesson, and the questions make you think. The lessons help me reflect on what the scripture says rather than the author's beliefs.

The study prompts some good discussion in a group. Depth could be better.

The book chooses scriptures, You read the scriptures and then you or your group expound on what you have read. I was looking for something that meshed clinical psychology with the Gospel without being too clinical. This book is based strictly on what the Word says and that's is good for a straight Bible-based study. I will continue to look for something that blends the two subjects that I need.

This item took too long to arrive. The product came packed in an envelope that was so difficult to open one of the books was torn in the process. The actual books were in perfect condition.Thank you
