What a lovely little book! We’ve read it many times now and will read it many times in the future.

This book stuck in memory, and is even sweeter than I remembered. A lovely story about a boy who wants a new suit, and all the cooperative tasks that go into making it. And the illustrations are superb.

Beautiful illustrations with a story that shows the value of planning, hard work, and bartering to get something most people today take for granted. This is a classic with old world charm.

When I saw this book on Amazon I remembered it from 1st or 2nd grade when the teacher used to read a book aloud to us. I was excited to buy it for my almost 3-year-old granddaughter. It shows the steps involved in a young boy getting a new suit. Very simple text and lovely art.

My daughter loved this book as a child and I was happy to buy this for her little boy. I also gave him a little "stuffie" lamb [I think it is Aurora]. When his parents read the book to him he cradles the soft little lamb. It is a very sweet book. * I'm grateful to Amazon for enabling me to send him these things although he is far away. * Now every time they receive an Amazon delivery he says "BOOKS BOOKS !"

Beautiful book in a nice large format so both my kids can see it at the same time when I’m reading. Great story to incorporate into learning to knit.
