I bought this to record drifting in my car and was able to mount this on my roll cage. It is very sturdy and very easy to install.

Super solid and mount VERY stable on the mirror arms. I have this on drives side with a Gopro8 Black and one on one of the hoops, with a Gp7 Black. Thins mount has been 9ne of the favored ones I've used from UTV, OFF ROAD, LONG TRIPS and even training with weapons.Locks in and easy on/off for the camera. I use a remote microphone extension as well, so the camera mounted sensor, is closer to our lapel mics. They certainly have resulted in far better sound and overall audio, because we can count on how rigidly this mount keep us able to enjoy hours of road trips. Those we can edit and share, and let folks enjoy some if the time on the road!Make no mistake, THIS ONE has worked well for us. I would certainly buy again.

I was surprised about this one here. This is mounted to my roll bar in my 93 miata. I use this to autocross and I'm surprised it does not move at all. The video quality is pretty great and the angles you can get with this is top tier. I highly recommend it. It's located between the driver and passenger seat. I have not tested this for side shots or videos of autocross. But I normally have my top down. So it's definitely getting blasted by some wind.
