what is the length of blades ( driving screws ) ?

The blades are 3" long. However, when they are in the tool there is 2.25" of blade sticking out of the screwdriver.

Any seller with new stock should be selling the click lock version, yes. The friction fit version from several years ago should no longer be in circulation.

Where are they actually made? Not engineered

Don't know where they are actually made, but look for another screwdriver. The original design was awesome, but they had to change the design to be in compliance with the insulated voltage rating. The new design sucks.
