These fingerboards are pretty nice. I have a couple teak boards and they feel great. Im not a fingerboard pro or anything. I used to skate a lot but my body doesnt quite absorb falls like it used to lol. They are way more functional than the tech decks i grew up with

I only gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I like the deck. The holes are lined up nicely, and the deck is perfectly fine. The trucks are where I am the least impressed. As you can see in the picture one of the axles straight up came out of the hangar. I was putting a wheel on and tightening the lock nut, and the axle was freely spinning. I did NOT overtighten the nut. This brings me to the lock nuts that came with this "complete" package. 4 out of the 6 lock nuts provided were bad. I would start to screw them on, and the nylon on the inside would pop out. I was able to salvage three of the four nuts by pushing the nylon back in and then threading them on backward so that the nylon would thread itself into the nut. Then they went on ok after flipping them back around the correct way. The fourth lock nut was toast as the nylon had come completely out of the nut as you can see in the picture. Luckily I had a spair locknut lying around. Now onto the other truck that came with this package. The axle wasn't loose like the other one, however, it isn't centered. I was expecting more quality out of Teak Tuning, but will not be buying their products anymore. I know they aren't the most expensive, but you'd still think their quality control wouldn't be this crappy. I thought the quality control at P-Rep was bad until this. You will have better luck with P-Rep or you can go for the more expensive brands like Blackriver, Flatface, Dynamic, etc. Update! Teak tuning customer service got back to me, and they were super helpful! They are very professional and are prompt at responding. They are sending replacements. 5 out of 5

good starter board

This was my first fingerboard after starting with tech decks. I liked how the wood had better pop and the grip tape used was WAY better than the tradition skateboard grip tape used on tech decks. Great value for the money. After skating more fingerboards this seems to be a little light for my preference.

Great gift

I bought this for my 12 year old nephew as a Christmas present. I understand they are all the rage with his friends, but frankly, I don’t get it. But hey, he was and continues to be happy with it. That’s five stars in my book.

Its a cool board and all, great product. I ordered purple and somehow ended up with a pink board. Its not a big deal but just disappointed its not the colour i wanted
