Would ideally rate it 4/5, but considering that we have few 'dependable' gaming mouse options and Asus has stepped in with a sturdy technical build I'm putting it at 5. Aside from the usual plus points shared with similar mice, few things I've noticed: Pros - Perhaps only mouse that I've used so far that work almost equally well on hard and cloth pads. It doesn't drag heavy on soft pads yet still has a sense of 'stickiness' for flicks. It also doesn't slip/scatter your aim on hard pads. - Bit heavy, but its a plus as the movements are smooth and actions feel more .. controlled. - 8khz polling. I turned this on only after a recent pc upgrade. On my earlier (quite old i7) machine the cpu couldn't handle it and caused fps drops. Have 0 such drops now, make sure to have a newish multicore cpu. - Extremely well build and polished well, no rubber surface that might peel off later. Cons - Everyone talks of it, and Armory Crate is.. famous. From now on I'll keep it on a backup laptop to customize settings which get saved to the mouse onboard memory anyway. - that teeny joystick by the thumb might be a + for some, I haven't found ways to apply it effectively. I removed it and had the shielded cap plugged in place. But AC still installs a 'virtual' mouse and keyboard on my pc, least one of which is because of the joystick I suspect. These don't cause any issues as such, but I don't have a preference for it. - No dpi switch button near mouse wheel, but I remapped the the wheel click for it. Neutral - 32k sensor. Might be useful for multi monitor setups I guess. I tried it for a bit, applying appropriate fractions to mouse sensitivity in Overwatch, but it felt similar to lower dpi and higher sens. Not knocking on this sensor in particular, have seen similar for other high dpi mice too - SteelSeries, Logitech, etc. If it lasts long enough without performance issues, I can see this one as a favorite.

I know people are like “this mouse is sooo heavy” its just the nerds. Who wanna complain about things. This mouse is overall the best mouse i have EVER had. Totally worth the upgrade from ROG Gladius 2 ive been rocking for years lol. This has programmable buttons. Responsive clicks. You can even replace them clicky mechanical keys very easily. And the mouse has a great surface too. If you have a good quality mouse pad. I dont think you would have any issue sliding the mouse around. Oh the battery. I literally TRIED HARD TO DRAIN IT. Played COD for like 14 hours straight. And then next day did some heavy gaming. Took me 3 DAYS to totally bring it to 20% 🙏. such an amazing mouse. Love it tho. Rgbs are also amazing. Different modes love it

The mouse is fantastic. Love it. Dongle storage, accurate, fast, easy to move. 5 stars for the mouse! I'm 100000000/10 SELLING the mouse. Armoury Crate, the software required to customize the mouse, else why would you buy a mouse with this many buttons, is the worst software I've ever used. I bought this mouse years ago and the software alone makes me want to switch. The updates over the years have been beyond terrible and I am now browsing for other mice. If Asus could make up their mind and stop changing the software, making me lose my profiles, destroying any links to recognize the app running and switch profiles accordingly, making me redownload the features of the software that was downloaded and working in the previous version, if the software didn't take forever to load or change something, I would buy another Asus mouse, even one of their gaming laptops. Their software is so bad I'm never buying another Asus product. My trust in Asus turned from admiring them getting ahead of other companies offering user replaceable switches to pure hatred after dealing with their software for years. Despite Logitech's shortcomings, discontinuing things I like and non-replaceable switches and more, I'll go over to them because at least their software works and works quickly. 2026-02-20 Update Software forced an update because it made my mouse stop working! Now all of my mouse profiles are gone. They also forced me to update my password by not letting me login or reuse it. Guess Asus had yet another password leak. If their software was as good as their hardware, then I could recommend them. Because their software is so bad, unreliable, I cannot give them even a star.

Wanted to love this mouse so badly! I went back and forth on returning it for days because I love the charging dock, the response time, the price, the quality, battery life, and the large size of this mouse. It is extremely comfortable, but I have a few complaints that resulted in its return: - Not enough buttons. Most MMO mice have up to 12 programmable buttons as most MMO's have an action bar of that size. You'll find a few that have less like ESO though. Most MMO mice have a grid pattern for their side buttons whereas this one is asymmetrical with buttons located in other places which is great if you want that. Unfortunately the Corsair Darkstar MMO Mouse also has this but more buttons to work with which is what I needed. I sadly ended up going with that mouse as I needed more function over form. - Side buttons are super low quality. The buttons move around when you push them and they have a cheap, unsatisfying click to them. I could probably look past this if the mouse had enough buttons but can't in this case and is worth mentioning. - Although very minor, this mouse is only 1000Hz versus the 2000-8000Hz that competitors offer. In the grand scheme of things, that's not going to be very noticable and would take a hit on the battery. Overall this wouldn't have swayed my decision on keeping the mouse like the two former issues but also worth mentioning for those that might want to know.

O mouse é fabuloso. Já estou usando-o a várias semanas. Para quem gosta de mouses grandes. A base de carregamento é também o dongle wireless, então não é adequado para quem quer trocar rapidamente entre computadores. A bateria dura o suficiente para ate dois dias de uso moderado (configurado o modo de hibernação). Se deixar o mouse na base durante a noite, não vai acabar a bateria durante um dia inteiro de uso constante. Vem com botões extras para reparar, e aparentemente é possível abri-lo com certa facilidade. Usar o Armoury Crate, o programa de gerenciamento da Asus, é indispensável. Então considerar isso. É o mesmo usado para placa mãe Asus e outros componentes da marca. O preço é alto, mas se estiver disposto a compra-lo, é uma excelente opção. Possui 6 botões configuráveis, além dos 3 botões de clique padrão e os 2 de avançar e retornar, então são 11 botões ao total para interagir com o computador, sem contar o botão de DPI. Não é possível conectar via bluetooth. Conexão wireless é confiável, mas não flexível.

He probado muchos y creo este se ha vuelto mi favorito, me gusta las funciones de los botones y además tiene 3 funciones para conectar a lap (Bluetooth, cable y usb inalámbrico) se carga muy rapida la batería.

Really good, I had been using a G502 since they came out but they are too small. Tried a razer but got severe arm and hand pain. This Asus Spatha X is amazing it's great for my big hand, Instead of fingers being off to the side they fit nicely on the side of this mouse. Only problem I see is the lighting, It uses a lot of battery, With it off I get 3-4 days of all day use, With lighting on the battery needs charging at night
