Cllena Dual USB Charger Socket Power Outlet 1A & 2.1A for Car Boat Marine Mobile (3.1A-Blue)

Replaces one of the dual old style 12 volt lighter receptacles in my 2017 Polaris Ranger Crew for charging cell phones and cameras. It has a nice blue glow light that gets really annoying when driving night hunts. I wish that was a bit dimmer. But, the whole Polaris blue lighted dash is kind of annoying too. It does look "cool" with all the blue dash lights on at night, but when driving with the lights off they wreck your night vision. Turn the lights on and the bugs wreck your day just as bad.

Not sure why there is two different power ratings on this plug. works good. No issues.Update 5-14-17 I have had this for 3-4 months. I use this in my F250 to power my LG3 phone. I replaced the 12v socket under the arm rest with this USB port. I have had ZERO issues. Dont really know if the LED light works nor do I care cause its under my seat. Looking at the mixed reviews looks like I got lucky and got a working one.

Works great. Not a simple swap out though. I used my dremel and a sanding bit to make my hole slightly larger. On a cigarette lighter socket replacement is recommend using a drummel or rotary bit to widen the socket hole. An 1-1/8" paddle bit can be used to measure the hole size, rotating snug but smoothly in the widened hole. On a new install use a pulpit bit to keep the paddle bit from widening and scratching you molding.

A nice and easy setup to install if you have an idea what you're doing. The dust caps block all the light which is nice when driving at night. I installed 2 of these 3.1A in our van, with the 4.2A up front. The 3.2A seemed to work better at charging phones than the 4.2A. It kept phones and tablet charged during a long trip.

These work nicely; I installed them in several fire trucks. But I made one wrong assumption - that they would fit in a cigarette lighter hole. These are somewhat larger in diameter so I needed to make new mounting holes.I thought I was just going to quickly replace the cigarette lighters with these. (Perhaps other reviews have mentioned this and I did not read carefully enough.)

Comes packaged well with two connectors. The fact that it’s illuminated is a nice touch. The jamb nut is textured which helps it grab and should keep it secure. It’s overall diameter is larger than the standard cigarette lighter style, so you’ll have to widen the hole. Short work for a Dremel, but worth mentioning

Got this to replace the cigarette outlets in my suv. Thr 12v power stays on all the time so I added a led blue toggle switch. This power outlet works great. It has 2.1amp and 1amp for both Android and Apple phones. It also has a cover so debris doesn't get in (my outlets face up). It's probably useful to keep water out if installed on a boat.
