I'm wondering about updates on countries and borders... Any thing new since 2018? I'd like a globe expeirence that also includes all politicalborders.

I can’t find Israel and that’s been a country since 1948. Taiwan is also not listed but I imagine that’s because this was made in China and China does not recognize the autonomy of Taiwan. While a great product, it’s frustrating that countries recognized by the UN (apart from Taiwan obviously) are not showcased. A serious flaw in my opinion.

Does this work with the amazon kids tablet?

Hi - Amazon Kids tablet is not an optimal experience for Orboot, given large amount of animated 3D content. We do have app available for Kindle Fire 10, but the iPad, iPhone and Android phones/tablets from Samsung and Lenovo have far better experience than Kindle Fire. Is the app localized in French?

Yes, French is going live by the end of December 2018. All gifts opened after Christmas will definitely have French!

Do I have to make any in-app purchases after buying the hardware/globe? Looks like there are different options such as food, animals etc.

Hello! All categories like food, animals, monuments etc are free once you buy Orboot. We recently launched "mysteries of Orboot" and even that is free. No in-app purchases at the moment Thanks so much!
