I usually buy the small jars of cayenne from the store. But it seemed like we were running out far too quickly. The size of this container is perfect and allows me to refill my spice jar several times. The flavor is perfect and the heat level is perfect, not too hot, but just right. I also haven't had any issues with clumping from moisture.

It's hot yet adds no discernible taste to salsa or other food. Warning—it's very HOT/SPICY! Use only a little at a time and test before adding more.

Tastes good, mixes well in water, does not clog sink like flakes If you get the flakes it is in larger chunks and is more likely to clog sinks, but because this is powder there is less risk of clogging the sink when used in soup or sauce when you clean the dishes Because it is only 1 ingredient you get better control of the flavor or degree of spiciness without adding other undesired flavors
