S&B, Golden Curry Sauce Mix, Mild, 3.2 oz

I have tried other Japanese curries like Java curry, but this one is hands down the best flavor. My kids like them too. So easy to make- just add water and vegies/protein.

I absolutely love it. Great test and flavor, you can adjust it's thickness you want it to be (by adding more or less water), its quick and easy to prepare to. You can also make it more fancy depending on the ingredients that you use, and I also use it to prepare other Asian dishes that I love (like lentils, yum). I don't cook it every week and the one that eat's it at home is mainly me, so it lasts a month or two on the fridge and i use it for 4-6 dishes depending what I make. I think its a pretty good value for money.

I love this curry. It’s not very spicy, good for me, but the flavor is very good. I like to use it for a vegetarian meal.

This is exactly the brand I was looking for since I knew it from another country (the UK) but I mistakenly chose the mild version which was too mild. It was missing something. If you want the real taste of an authentic kutsu curry you should go to the medium heat which is exactly what I've done next time. Absolutely delicious kutsu curry, creamy and rich (the medium version). Also, why is this more expensive than in the local classic american superstores?? Amazon come on!

I’m going to preface this by saying I am white. I’m talking “from the mountains of caucus” white. And most of the writing on the package is in Japanese, so I have very little clue what’s in it or if I’m following the directions. But this curry NEVER misses. I try to keep it authentic, usually add stir fried veggies, coconut milk, maybe chicken or shrimp, served on rice. When I say I ate it every day when I was pregnant because it was one of the only things that didn’t make me hurl, it was EVERY. DAY. My husband got sick of it but I never did. And it keeps so well in the fridge, I’d prep a big batch and store in little Tupperware bowls. Seriously, tastes even better the day after. I’ve tried other curry mixes, this one is superior. Just an added note, if you can, buy this in your local Asian Market. (We live like 30 miles away from ours and they are always out of stock, I promise I’m not a hypocrite)

The first time I had curry at a Japanese restaurant I loved it so much that I was elated when I found this brand of curry, so that I can recreate the same dishes at home! This curry comes in various levels of spiciness: I personally like the medium one, as it has the right amount of kick in my opinion, but the family is not too hot (pun intended) on spicy foods, so we typically get the mild variety - same deliciousness, minus the spicy. It is super easy to prepare, as you just put your favorite veggies (onions, carrots and potatoes work great) in a pot with some oil, add water and then some cubes of curry. You can also add meat, or pour the veggie curry on top of a cutlet (katsu curry), and complete the dish with a side of white rice (a must in my opinion). With this box size you can make 6 to 8 servings, depending on how thick you like the curry. Absolutely recommended.

Makes a fantastic sweet curry. Highly recommend.
