Trust Without Borders: A 40-Day Devotional Journey to Deepen, Strengthen, and Stretch Your Faith in God

I was always excited to read the next day's inspiration--and read and re-read many of the entries as they are so rich!

Life has been extremely difficult on all levels for several years now, and I'd reached a point where I had only the slightest, fraying thread of faith left. This in spite of trying as hard as I could to do all the things a "good" Christian is supposed to do. Then, I saw Arabah Joy's book on trust and began reading. And reading. It's written in bite-sized chapters to be a daily devotional, but I couldn't stop reading. She writes powerfully and honestly about trying to be a Christian in the middle the messiness of life, and somehowmanages to inspire & re-energize readers to raise their sights, minds, & emotions to Christ instead of becoming overwhelmed by life's stresses & hardships. She knows her Bible well and chooses excellent, often lesser-cited scriptures to support her points. She includes some exercises which seem simple and yet were powerful enough to restore a good amount of my trust in God. I've reread it multiple times, and several points have stuck with me and continue to help me make fundamental shifts in my faith in God.

This is one of the best devotionals I've read and I plan on giving it as gift to others in the future. In the past ten years that I have been following the Lord there have been actually very few devotionals that I would highly recommend to others. After I read the preview I decided I wanted to read this devotional as I was doing 40 days of prayer. In the preview it seemed like it would be an incredible devotional, and it did not disappoint. She is open, honest, and real in way that is encouraging even if what she experiencing is heart-breaking. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is a mom with little ones as she speaks a lot about showing grace to children and gives some powerful examples. But even as single woman with no children, I absolutely loved this book and definitely plan on rereading it.

I am not usually a devotional person. I like me, God , my prayer journal and my bible. I bought this because I was interested in the 40 days praying the promises that Arabah offered for free (I think I saw that on Pinterest) and thought it might be beneficial. I received way more than I expected ! Each day's devotion impacted me enormously. I am even in a different stage of life than Arabah was in this writing , all my young people are 17 and over but God has given Arabah great insight! I wish I would have had this when my kids were young . It gripped me so greatly that there were days I couldn't read just one devotional but rather 2 or 3. She gets raw and real with our human feelings but then helps you to lift your eyes to our great , mighty and loving God!!!

This devotional is for everyone; see all need to live in trust without borders in this world. Arabah Joy gets to the heart of it in each selection. Great to read in order or just open up to one. This is one I will come back to many times.

This book came to me and helped me through some difficult times. Each day is a new and inviting story filled with good Godly advice and truths. I know this is a devotional but once I started reading I couldn't put it down and read it straight through in 2 days (instead of 40). I have often shared the truths I learned in this book with others and find them to be helpful to me in my own life too. I highly recommend this book to anyone whether you are experiences doubts in your walk with God or not.

An excellent devotional you can pick up and put down at any time. It's unsequential. So far every single story or devotional has spoken to me and helped. Seems like the writer has experienced some of the same things most people have in their faith journey, yet found in Christ a way to overcome and share the way to succeed. Each day is a short read, so it doesn't take too much time.

Arrived promptly but not really started the devotional yet.

The book is excellent, but I read only a few chapters, because for some reason, it is not opening to read. How can I solve this problem?
