My 13 year old son is a bit obsessed with geography and maps. I’m not as knowledgeable, but he’s so happy with the quality of this one. We looked at others and he pointed out all the mistakes on those to me. He’s very excited to get this big map framed and put up on his wall. We did have a bit of trouble getting our package. All due to shipping, no fault of the seller, they did absolutely everything to make it right. The seller was amazing about it, when it did arrived it was packaged very carefully. They even sent a tiny pack of German gummy bears and a much smaller version of the map with it! He sat eating his gummy bears and telling me geography and history facts, while pointing it out on his little map.

This is huge! The pkg also had a smaller version of the world map, which makes me very happy. A nice surprise.And a poster with an urban cityscape onone side and relaxing, green forest on the flipside.

I got this as a gift to allow someone to pin places they've traveled. I decided on this map for its overall look, and decided to forgo on accuracy. While this is one of the nicer looking maps I found on Amazon, it definitely isn't the most accurate. It includes most major locations, but I was disappointed to find that part of the US (California, Hawaii and Alaska) were totally cut off! There is also a small conform the printer in the bottom right corner, which I was almost able to hide. I didn't like this, as it made it seem like more of a poster than artwork.I didn't mount this as a wallpaper, but instead mounted it to a foam board and framed it myself (I found it was too large to mount to a canvas or have professionally framed for a reasonable price). It wasn't very hard to do after doing some research online.Overall, pretty happy with the product, just beware this may not be the best option for you if you want a very detailed map.

Wife loves it! She wishes we had wall space for the largest poster. It is printed on high quality paper, so was easy to hang without ripping. The graphics are fantastic, and the details stand out nicely, not blurry around the edges.The map is very detailed, easy to read, colors are as expected with not bleeding together. The map is "Modified Mercator", keeping the distortion of landmass down, while not looking like a chopped up globe.The company sent a second smaller map, a Mercator map, and a double sided poster as free gifts ~ much more than expected.

The poster is beautiful. I ordered the largest size possible that came in "one piece". I really wanted a larger size but not as large as the next size offered , which came in multiple pieces. I needed it to be about 8 inches wider and 12 inches longer. But I am good with what I have. Like I said, the poster itself is beautiful with warm rich colors.I would order again from this company- for sure. The packaging had a small token of appreciation too - which made me feel that the seller values their customers!

Went above and beyond delivering quality. When you order this you receive a really tall box . Inside that box is not just one poster but three and it looks like it's wrapped in wrapping paper. Of the three posters you could almost say there's four because the wrapping paper actually folds out into a mini version which is pretty big still of the map so you can cut around it and still have that posted up on the wall. When I thought I was just getting one poster in this order I got three somewhat four. The first was the original poster. The second was a very nice beach poster with like a Hamic background. The third poster was a tall like standing poster of a city. Lastly what you could say was the fourth poster was the wrapping paper looking unaffordable protective casing of a small version of the main map.

Poster came in and it was beautiful. I taped it to my wall using Command velcro strips so I can easily remove. Also the package came with 3 extra posters for free. Very nice. 2 of them had a different design on the front and back and I cut out the other from the poster wrapping paper. Don’t accidentally cut or tear the outer paper as that paper protector cover has a free poster you can cut out.

This poster is absolutely BREATHTAKING!! I bought it for my classroom to make it a more creative and relaxing environment- with the green color for growth. The kids were SO excited about it- they just laid their head on it and smiled.When people walk into my classroom, it stops them dead in their tracks as they stop in awe and stare at it. The other teachers find it very soothing! It brightens my entire room! My classroom would be so dull and boring without it- it's my favorite part!Not only is the poster amazing, but they sent me TWO more posters with it!! One is a beach scene the same size which I will switch out to change things up at some point and the other was a smaller city scene I also hung in my classroom that the kids enjoy, too!!I could not be happier with this purchase!!!

Out the box as with other buyers I was blown away by the amount of additional free posters included. The poster I ordered (Feng Shui Waterfall) has amazing depth of colour, attention to detail and overall sense of quality. The backing paper is thick and manageable. Then came the time to put it on the wall, after leaving it flat and weighed down for a couple of hours (really helps to get rid of the tension in it from being rolled up in a tube) i then noticed that unlike cheaper posters this is not a self adhesive backing. Ok not so much of an issue, I wallpaper pasted the wall not the back of the poster as reccommended and started at the bottom and worked up from the centre, pushing air bubbles away as i went. That first fix went smoothly enough, then stood back to see some wrinkles and small bubbles left, so started working them out and then the damage started. Altho dry the backing material and poster feel thick once the paste has worked into the paper by 10 mins no more it becomes paper thin. DO NOT keep working it as it will tear like tissue.If i were to buy another one again then i would insist on having someone with me to pull the poster tight and AWAY from the pasted wall as we worked from one corner down to the opposite corner.As i said i cannot fault this posters camera work or printing or depth of colour, but would like them to of supplied it with a self adhesive backing, especially since this one was at the upper end of price ranges we looked at.

The item itself is nice and looks lovely on my wall but I applied the wallpaper paste to the poster and not the wall with the end result being that the poster, eventually, tore. I had just decorated one wall with proper wallpaper and thought I would use the same paste on this poster. I think it would have been better to either use blu-tac or drawing pins or paste the wall. The poster is of a decent quality but once wet it is a bit difficult to handle - hence why mine torn (but am still using). We took too long to paste the poster so it is advised to paste and stick as quickly as possible - ensuring you have a already drawn plumb line etc. As stated by other people you actually do get more than the poster you ordered. I got a really good quality world map (perfect for my geography classroom) - a poster of the New York skyline (sons bedroom) and a very large poster of the Northern Lights (also going in my sons bedroom). This is, therefore, an excellent product to purchase and I do recommend it.

Unfortunately, state borders are not drawn correctly. South Sudan, which gained independence in 2011, is still missing, but Russia's annexation of Crimea (happened in 2014) is already included.Otherwise a lovely design and good size, therefore 2 stars.

Beautiful poster, well produced and will look great when I put it up. I got a great bonus of 2 other posters of great quality for free . Well packaged , speedy delivery. If this is your kind of thing it is a good quality item for the price and is huge. Be careful when unwrapping as the wrapping is also a map poster which I have cut the edges off as instructed and as is high gloss have it to my grandson and he uses as a floor mat.
