Is there a way to get a female connector that also has screw in slots for the wire?

I purchased these, they come in two parts.  The female part has screw slots for the wires and a female receptor for the other half of the connector set. (exactly what you ask for!) The Male part is meant to solder into a circuit board.  It has a male pin on both sides, one to go into the circuit board and one to go into the female part of the connector. So if this is a straight thru pin one can slide to female connectors on to the two sides, but the length at the circuit board side of the connector is a bit short  and the plastic doe not have a catch lip on it.  (not recommended, but works) Now, if you are looking for a male half which also has screw connectors for wires in stead of the circuit board, that is a different story.  Some sets similar to this site even come with wing tabs with screws to fasten the two halves together. they are meant to go into a panel, but you do not have to use it that way and can splice two cables.   Make sure you cover the wires up when finished so that they do not flop around and short out against something.  You maybe able to insert a screw into the wing tabs to make sure that these do not come unplugged!

What is the temperature resistance of these connectors?

Temperature resistance? I am not for sure what you are asking?  However, they are constructed pretty much of the same plastics that all of these style connectors are made from and will hold up to considerable temperatures.  However, they soften with temperature.  They will deform if you touch them with a soldering iron.  They are injection molded and this is always done by heating the plastic until it is soft and then pressure is used to flow the material into the mold.  Good luck.
