Pet Gate

We needed a way to stop our 'scoffing' cat stealing our 'grazing' cat's food, one eats on the stairs so we just put this across to stop stealage! It's also very useful in the kitchen, where we move it to stop the cats getting under our feet (and getting trodden on) while we're cooking. Excellent for the price.

I’m a home boarder for dogs and this works well for the small dogs but when I have a medium/large dog who is very boisterous, they can knock it down in one paw swipe haha. Still, good and can use in lots of different size areas.

Substantial for use as a stair/front door gate for us. We have a miniature Dachshund. It has meant I am safer leaving my laundry, we can answer the door without him escaping and he can't run upstairs. Does exactly what we want and he's not knocked this over.

Very nice gate after being assembled. Useful to keep puppy safe inside door. Disappointed with the hinges. After assembling the hinges there is a problem. The upward pins in the hinges keep dropping down. We regularly have to push pins upwards into hinge to stop them dropping out. First picture shows pin hanging out of hinge. Second picture shows pin intact after being pushed back up.

Rubbish cardboard gate. The description of this gate says ‘Freestanding WOODEN Dog Fence’ and that it is made of ‘quality materials’. There is nothing wooden about this gate. As you can see from my photos it is pretty much a cardboard composite. It has come apart so many times it is a joke. I only have a small dog, but just moving the gate around causes problems. The panel end joints come apart and the bars pop out. Couldn’t return as problems started to occur outside the return window, so left having to do a ton of repairs. Not sure why they are allowed to describe as wooden when it is definitely not. Do not buy.

This is brilliant, the fact that the hinges are 360 and can go right round either way makes it so flexible, we gated off a corner for our dogs and can make it bigger or smaller as necessary with this gate. High enough so they can't jump over, and four panels where the cheaper ones only have three. You have to screw the hinges on yourself, but the holes are pre-drilled and the instruction leaflet is foolproof - very happy!
