I do not understand why fully wrapped protein bars cannot be returned! I just spent $20 on some "Barebells Vegan Hazelnut & Nougat" bars. They come in a 12 pack. How can I know what they will be like unless I try one? These are way too sweet and the so-called nougat is all chocolate. The nut pieces are tiny so you don't get any *taste* of hazelnut. Amazon says that you are not allowed to return the 11 out of 12 you are *never* going to eat. That's not right. I cannot recommend these, at least not this flavor. Perhaps if the nougat were vanilla and about half as sweet they would be better. There would also need to be much larger pieces of hazelnut. One more tip...if you are not an omnivore, read the ingredients carefully. Some of these bars have bovine ingredients in them.

I was excited to buy these after hearing all the hype about how good they are. While they’re not bad (the texture is the best thing about it), the bars I got have 15g of protein per bar, not the 20g that is in the picture for the listing. 15g is also what is on the Barebell’s website.

It might just be me. I’m not sure. But these made me so gassy. Like really really bad. But they taste so good. They taste like candy. I was hooked and was eating one a day but then my tummy was in pain so I had to stop. Whomp!

So there I was, wandering through Trader Joe’s, minding my own business, when it happened. I spotted the Barebells Vegan Protein Bar - Hazelnut & Nougat. “Oh, another protein bar,” I thought, completely jaded by countless chalky disappointments. But curiosity (and hunger) got the best of me. One bite in, and I blacked out. When I came to, I was clutching the wrapper with tears in my eyes, whispering, “Where have you been all my life?” This thing didn’t taste vegan—it tasted like someone melted a hazelnut dream into a bar and said, “Here, have muscles and dessert.” I did what any rational person would do: I returned to Trader Joe’s the next day and hoarded boxes like I was preparing for the vegan protein apocalypse. But even that wasn’t enough. The fear of running out was real, so I did what any unhinged snack lover would do—I ordered a stockpile from Amazon. Boxes arrived at my doorstep like hazelnut-filled care packages sent by the snack gods. Now, I’m swimming in bars like Scrooge McDuck, and I sleep better at night knowing I’ll never run out. Trader Joe’s employees recognize me, my Amazon delivery driver is concerned, but I have no regrets. 10/10, would panic-buy again. If loving Barebells is wrong, I don’t want to be right.

Not the most protein gram per calorie, but that's not the point. These bars fully satisfy my cravings of something sweet, but leave me full, unlike ordinary chocolate bars. It's worth for me to import it from USA to Europe (Georgia), because everything else I've tried so far just isn't that good. There are bars with better nutrient profiles, but this one strikes a perfect balance between calories, protein and sweetness

The image of the nutrition label shows 20g of protein, which is incorrect. They only have 15g protein. They're still a good product, but this blatantly false advertising is unacceptable.
