Great value Xbox storage quick setup with one extra step
I bought the Senate 2TB external hard drive to expand storage on my Xbox and overall it’s been a great, reliable addition. The drive wasn’t pre-formatted for Xbox, so I needed to format it on a PC first. This only took a few minutes and was very straightforward, but it’s worth knowing in advance in case you don’t have easy access to a computer. Once that was done, the Xbox recognised it immediately with no issues. Since then, performance has been solid. Games install and run smoothly, it’s quiet in use, doesn’t get hot, and feels well made for the price. The 2TB capacity gives loads of room for modern games and updates, which is a big plus. Overall, excellent value for money. As long as you’re aware of the quick formatting step, it does exactly what you want and works seamlessly with Xbox once set up. Would happily recommend.

Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub Review
The Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub is an external hard drive designed for gamers who need a lot of storage space for their games, movies, and other content. Here are some reviews of the Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub, 8TB Pros Large capacity for storing a vast collection of games and other content. Fast for a spinning external hard drive, thanks to its 7,200rpm platters. RGB lighting adds a cool look to any gaming setup. Great value for the price compared to external SSDs. Easy to connect and use. Cons Plodding compared with most external SSDs. Limited range of connectors. Plastic build could be more premium. Can't play PlayStation 5 games from the hard drive. Overall, the Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub is a great desk addition for backing up and archiving your collection. It is a great value for the price and excels at backing up and storing all the games you could ever hope to own. The 8TB version is perfect for those who need a lot of storage space for their games and other content. The FireCuda Gaming Hub is fast for a spinning external hard drive, thanks to its 7,200rpm platters, but it is plodding compared with most external SSDs. The limited range of connectors is a downside, but it is easy to connect and use. The plastic build could be more premium, but the RGB lighting adds a cool look to any gaming setup. If you are looking for a large capacity external hard drive for your gaming needs, the Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub is a great option And If Your Looking For Hard Drive For Steam Games This Is The Best Thing To Get I Have 345 Steam Games Downloaded And I Have Still Have Storage Left And It Runs Steam Games Like Its Nothing

A nice drive, but it was not a simple plug and play experience for me.
I already have the Gaming version of this drive and that worked flawlessly as soon as it was connected to my win 10 pc. This time I opted for the PC version and immediately ran into trouble. My PC could not see it. Checking through device manager the enclosure was visible there but it didn't show the drive itself at all and windows flat out ignored it altogether in the normal file explorer. Seagates help files were pushing for reformat and were also less than perfect to follow. I used the minitools download for partition work and assigned the drive a unique drive letter and after that it worked perfectly. I wasted a lot of time working that little bit of info out and deducted a star from the item for that issue. It works fine now and seems perfect. But all the messing about to get to this stage was highly annoying. Outside of that, the enclosure is a nice thing. With controllable RGB lighting making it look pretty cool in use. But the additional of a fat usb and a usb c socket on the front adds another string to the drives bow. I like the form factor of the drive and now it is working properly it is a really nice unit to have. It's just a shame that it was such a pain to get working properly.

RGB Lights make it go faster
Does what it's supposed to do. I bought one years ago to use with a PS5, and it's plug and play. Works out of the box. I'm using it to store games on, as the less than a TB of storage that comes with the launch PS5 is not enough. It's still working today. Setting up the lights on it is easy. The drive comes with a link to the webpage to download the software pre-installed. Press the link, download the software, immediately have the ability to alter the colour settings. The settings are retained even if the drive is switched off or moved. I just purchased a new one to watch media on a smart TV with. I did have to reformat it to NTFS to make the TV recognise it, but a simple 'reformat' in windows did the job and now it's working fine. I think £100 is too expensive for 2TB, but when it's on sale for around half price that's fairer. There are plenty of other hard drives on amazon that are slightly cheaper but aren't from official companies are sound like they're made in a basement in China, and amazon doesn't monitor what's actually on them so anything could happen when they're plugged in. It's worth paying a little bit extra to get one from an official company that's known to be safe. Lastly, selecting the 'rainbow' option for the LEDs obviously makes the drive work faster.

Will not play Xbox games
Had to get my partner to reorder this for me as apparently I am only allowed to order one. given that I received a wired mouse instead of a hard drive i think that is a bit rich. UPDATE finally received the hard drive thanks to my partner. However, save your money as you CANNOT play Xbox games from this device. You can store them on there , but what is the point as you may have to delete games from the internal storage of the xbox to be able to move the game to a playable drive. Total con

No brainer if you only have a Series S
Got the 2tb external hard drive after looking at internal storage that was half the size at double the price. Having all that space and the ability to transfer games to main storage in minutes is a win. But realising just how many games I can play straight from the external that I’ve had to keep uninstalling for space is priceless. Red Dead 2, Shadow of War, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Dragon Age Inquisition and XCOM2. Those 5 games alone wouldn’t fit on my Series S together. Now I’ve got all them and more.
