If you plan to adjust it once and keep it still, it's not that bad. Pay attention to max diameter size noted.
The freedom of motion at the desk clamp is lacking making movement unsteady. If you loosen the locking bolt, it become worse. If you plan to keep it stationary once adjusted, this probably won't be an issue, but given it is made to be adjusted, it is a bit annoying. The main beam center tensioning bolt's handnut is positioned such that if you have a tight angle, the nut rubs along the springs. Again, it's just annoying when making adjustments. If you wanted to adjust while recording, you'll pick up the sound of the spring rubbing against the nut.The clamp for the pop filter has a plastic setbolt which when attempting to fully tighten can skip a thread. Just make sure to apply pressure when fully tightening it on the boom and you should be ok. The pop filter adjustment is also a bit wonky and takes some getting used to.I didn't see it in the description/contents, but the shock mount is threaded for 5/8"-27. It comes with a 5/8"-27 to 3/8"-16 adapter tightly connected to the shock mount side. So you can use the shock mount or boom with other components of either size.Lastly, when they say 46mm max diameter, they're not kidding. I tried putting my 52mm diameter mic to see if it'd hold. It supported the weight just fine but unfortunately cracked the metal mic collar in two places in about 5 minutes. This was completely my fault and it doesn't affect my overall rating. Just know that the stated size IS THE MAXIMUM size. Before that, the shock mount held my smaller mic just fine. Afterward, it does not sit tightly without the use of some rubber bands. the shock mount was actually the best part of the boom in my opinion up to that point. It has been stated elsewhere the collar is made of plastic. Having broken it, I can assure you it is metal. It is just really weak die-cast metal, similar to what is used in die-cast models. Very light and brittle.

Great deal for a low price
I got mine delivered yesterday. i love it. I gave it five stars because i got exactly what i paid for. The suspension boom itself is really sturdy. however, make sure you clamp it to something solid.i have mine clamped to a plastic table and its bending it(See Image). i will upgrade my desk in a week. The material that its made out of feels strong. the springs are quite small though but does not bother me at all. The pop Filter is not the best there is but it gets the job done, and like i said before. i got what i paid for. The shock-mount did not fit the microphone i originally had intended this arm for so i used it for my other mic and it looks awesome (See Other image). All in all this is a great bargain. i am 100% satisfied with this purchase.

Stays put when you need it to
There is a little thing we all need more of and that is ROOM. The boom clamps nicely to the side of my desk, this allows me to place it anywhere I want in my small space. It is very well made and does not fall down like other products. The pop screen was a bit of a struggle to place. It does not place where it is in the picture due to a rivet that is in the way keeping the adjustment screw from extending. I did manage to place it on the shock mount arm. This boom is made for a large diaphragm condenser microphone and the description states it will fit most of them. I use a Blue Yeti so my mic will not fit. I purchased a Blue Yeti mic shock mount to use in place of the one that comes with the boom arm.I am very please with this product and recommend it to anyone that i looking for a good boom at an affordable price.

Nice little boom
A little on the small side then what i'm used to. I can see this working for gamers or people doing podcasts perfectly though.but doing voice overs that need to have a script in front of me and use a lot of inflection and movement when reading, it's a little short.

Go buy a HEIL product instead. Don't waste your time or $$$ on this one.....
Not sure what happened to my previous review but this product is just "OK". Not a HEIL by any means. My biggest complaint is the clamp. It's junk. The boom just wobbles in it. If you want a cheap product, this is it. I'm buying a HEIL next time....

Not that durable to stick on my side table. ...
Not that durable to stick on my side table. The head keeps going down and/or table mount clamps keeps taking off when i put my microphone. i dont think my Rode condenser micro phone is heavy.

Good for the Price
Sturdy stand, good build quality.Pop filter and shock mount aren't anything amazing, but they do the job, and at this price point, I can't complain.Mount is stable, parts move well, fairly adjustable.

pop filter works well and the quality is nice, the arm now it is
Well it is a mic suspension stand as it says , pop filter works well and the quality is nice , the arm now it is, well .. I have seen better arms in desk lamps , I am not saying that it is bad but if you want to adjust it back and forth since you don't want to keep your mic in a constant position ( that's why you are buying this "adjustable" arm ) well let's say it is fine for the price until you are able to buy a better one , it will hold (hopefully). As for the shock mount yes it is metal, yes it works as intended it will hold off desk shaking just fine ! (with AT2020 it barely fits very..very tightly). To sum it up shock mount yes, pop filter yes, "adjustable" arm .. so & so till you get a better one. All in all for the price it's a steal. If you are buying this for the AT2020 i highly recommend using the inner screw thingy that came with the mount of the mic.

Would buy again, although a small fix was required
Holds a rather heavy microphone steadily, the arm itself is fine and hangs the way I leave it, without adjustments. The locking system is made of metal. Actually, except for two or three knobs on the arm, it's all made of metal.I had to adjust the piece that holds the mic- It would slide out under the weight of the microphone, and a condenser dropping on the floor is the last thing you want. Glad I held it over bed when it happened. Easy fix tho, you will find tools in every car or garage. The pop filter is all right. Easy to adjust, holds its own weight, does the bup dam dabadib dib badabum thing correctly.Would buy again.

PreSonus M7 condensor microphone compatible
Easy to assemble. Securely clamps on desk. Compatible with (PreSonus M7) condensor microphone. Easy to adjust height, length and angle of the boom arm to suit my studio set up. Metal construction - seems to be sturdy enough for the job so will hopefully last me a while. Good value for the price. Recommended for any home studio on a budget.

Let down by a weak desk mount. Could have been a great product.
I don’t often leave negative reviews. But I feel this ones important to leave. If you’re in need of a mic mount/boom stand, avoid this. Even at its price point there are better options this TONOR model has pros and cons. Pros - the actual arm itself is pretty strong, more than strong enough to hold up my blue yeti without dipping. Cons - (and this is a big one) the desk mount provided is VERY weak. This should be one of the stronger points of the construction but is simply a piece of bent steel, whereas competitors products (which I have since purchased at the same price point) are machined steel. You cannot get good enough tension on the mount before it starts to bend out of shape. The only way I’d recommend this product is as a replacement arm if you already have a good desk mount, but wven then there are better products available on amazon.

Doesn't support blue yeti at all like comments say
I bought this to fit my blue yeti pro and there was no adapter screw for this mic despite people saying there was in the QA. However this isn't the only reason this review is so low because without even using it with a mic I set up the desk clamp anyway and I moved the arm around to check the quality... Yeah the desk clamp just fell over and the arm crashed into my desk. After all that I'm pretty glad my yeti doesn't fit in there

The table clamp is good but the bit where it connects to the boom ...
Warning for Yeti customers - do NOT buy this for the shock mount unless you are prepared with an adapter. It is a friction and spring clamp fit so its not secure at all. Also the pack comes with one adapter so you can choose to either use it on the yeti OR the shock mount. Its ok as a stand. The table clamp is good but the bit where it connects to the boom has some play.

Sound check 1, 2
The Boom works fine hold my mic and is free to move around, the only down side is the clamp that goes on to the desk isn't strong and it bend when tightening up the clamp, might be because my desk is a little slippery and it couldn't get a good grip at first, but as i said it does what it needs to do.

Not bad for this price.
The arm is very easy to manipulate and ensures that your mic doesn't wobble around unexpectedly.I've not had a single problem with it.

Good but keep an eye out
This mic arm is really good since it also comes with a shock mount and pop filter. As for the arm itself, it is sturdy enough to hold a moderately weighted condenser microphone (I use the Lyxpro SMU-5).Do take into account of what the 1 star reviews have to say, since this mic arm is on the cheaper end. It is good, it does its job but its noteworthy to be a little skeptical at the same time.

Guys its Cheep but good, Does Support Blue Yeti but not with Shock Mount
OK so clear something up.. it will fit a Blue Yeti yes. BUT! not with the Mic Shock mount. it will only fit using the "Screw Step-up" adaptor. this could be its down fall as most people do not want to pick up extra unwanted noises like "desk knocks" "keyboard taps" and the rest. shock mount like it says in the picture is plastic anyway. not a seriously bad thing but questionable. but again the price.. £17. the arm its self is rigid and metal. a plus. for the £17 its a great buy. i already had the same pop shield (filter) so i am keeping the new as a spare (replacement)

Broken. Plastic NOT METAL.
Utterly awful. Advertised as being made of metal, actually made of plastic so cheap that a main piece was already broken off before I opened the box. Atrocious. Do. Not. Buy. Not worth a penny. The fact it's advertised as being made of metal when it's actually plastic, I'm pretty sure that's grounds enough to sue if not at least get my freaking money back.

Works and still goi g strong after 18 months use
Feels like it won’t hold up, but 18 months on it is! Used to hold a fairly heavy yeti, and it’s still goi g strong to my surprise!

Useful addition to the studio
As a cheap suspension mount this is really good. The clamp is strong and I've used it loads of times and it seems dependable
