what type of USB cable port?

It is definitely not a standard micro USB. My cat destroyed the cable, and I tried several USB variations. None of them fit. Nowhere in the data sheet or other specifications does it say what cable this is. I could never find a cable sold separately on Amazon or on the Resound website. It looks like if the cable breaks (and it is a very flimsy receptacle) you end up buying a new charging station.

Is this compatible with resound linx 3d hearing aids?

The Linx 3D hearing aids are not compatible with the Quattro charger. They will work with the 3D charger.

does this item come with a warranty?

Yes they last maybe two years. The usb designed socket is the worst in the industry for continued use. Why did Apple come up with the Lightning connector? USB 3.0 was not out yet! I’m on my third charger. Insurance covers hearing aid once every five years.
