I wanted to have a scanner that had coverage across domestic, Japanese, and euro vehicles. I have a 2015 Hyundai Sonata, a 2008 Volvo s40, and a 2016 Honda Fit. This scanner has proven to do more on my car than I need it to do! It has more options available than I know what to do with as a DIYer. This is far better than the little cheap-o OBD code readers and has bidirectional controls so I am able to to active tests and relearns. This MK808z is well worth the price.

Machine works very well, and is quick. I've had the machine for over a year now, and I'm constantly amazed at what it is capable of doing. I own 2 newer Toyota trucks, an older Honda, and 2 ancient, but still computerized GM SUV's. This machine has diagnosed every issue I've had so far. Software updates have gone flawlessly on this machine. No non-obd adapters were included in this kit, but I bought a separate Autel adapter kit later, and that remedied not being able to connect to older non OBD2 equipped vehicles. At well over $400, you get a lot of bang for the buck. This machine even programmed factory keyless entry fobs and Immobilizer keys on my 2021 Toyota Tundra! Impressive! Saved me hundreds of dollars in locksmith fees doing this one job! Newer machines have come out since, but this older machine is still impressive!

Im not a professional Mechanic but had a need for a good scanner. This unit has more features than I would probably need and cost a bit more than the typical DYI model but I found it well worth the additional cost. I found the recording capability useful in diagnosing an intermittent problem with my vehicle. I was hesitant at first given the upfront cost, but the unit has already paid for itself in the amount of time I have had it, saving friends and family from diagnostic fees. reseting lights, minor service etc. Overall very pleased with it and would recommend it to friends and family. It is a professional tool, and covers an extensive list of vehicles. i gave it 4 stars on ease of use because it does so much took had a little higher learning curve to figure what things are and what it can do but after that - was very easy to use

This product is easy to use and has broad compatibility. High quality cables and a rugged case. It's perfect for diagnosing problem using the live data funcions, DTC codes and perfom software assisted services like after you replace X part and need to calibrate, reset or teach. It helped me fix an issue I was struggling to identogy with my 2018 Elantra GT sport. I had a surging idle and after cleaning the carbon build up and going through the tablet to reset the throttle body adaptive values the issue completely went away. I also used it to reteach the Clutch touch points on my DCT transmission which improved shift feel and drivability. I recommend this for any do-it-yourselfers and small shops. Anything that requires more advanced features you would need to step up in model.

If you own a 2018 or newer ram or Chrysler product it will not work unless you buy their Subscription Each year At $125.00, Even if you purchased the auto auth Which I did For an additional $65.00. It has to route through altel and then through stellantis security. I just found this out the hard way So now I have to buy their subscription even though I don't need to update my analyzer.

I got the MK808Z, and it's wonderful. Wife operates a mobile business so being able to diagnose and quickly repair things at the house is extremely helpful to get back on the road quickly. Being able to scan all modules other the ECM is just what we need to fix the yellow wren light. I was also able to do the rear brakes of my '19 VW Tiguan with the service mode. Was able to reset my buddys airbag light after he unplugged it. I was able to turn off the annoying auto start stop function. First time setup was easy, updating out of the box only took about an hour. I would recommend if you're interested in being more serious about doing your own maintenance. Scanning for trouble codes and having the MK808Z give you much more indepth information other than a code is amazing and I absolutely love it!

Best scanner for the money hands down. I'm a mechanic who was looking for a scanner for home, this unit can do absolutely everything my snap on solus edge does. The information graphing is a little better on the solus but the autel is still good. Unbelievably impressed

I bought this to work on a chevy volt, it let me reset many modules and diagnos every module i have used it on my Jeep JK and F150 Works great/ lots of info Easy Setup

Great scanner, with great options

Fonctionne bien.

Does not provide real time engine data as advertised. Specifically for my 2003 dodge ram diesel. I needed to be able to see and monitor fuel pressure to diagnose an issue with fuel pump. Unit would not provide that or any other useful realtime data.
