Great product, accurate and easy to use

I've had many battery testers over the last 50+ years, this one is the best by far. Costs a little more than the rest and it's worth every penny. Someone new what they were doing when they designed this one.

I bought this tester on the strength of the Amazon reviews - thank you all! - and its lived up to them, can't say fairer than that, so won't woffle on about it other then to say yes, it works very well indeed! Small, compact, digital and works really well.

Compact and easy to use. The display showing both actual voltage and level bars is very helpful. Comparing measured voltages of numerous batteries with a trusted multimeter it appears to read slightly lower but close enough (e.g. 1.57 vs 1.59 for a 1.5V battery, 9.62 vs 9.65 for a 9V battery). Certainly good enough for a quick check and more convenient than using the multimeter. However, when using the 3V setting for button cells I got anything from 85% to 97% of the voltage measured by the multimeter, e.g. a brand new CR2032 measuring 3.29V on my multimeter measured only 2.89V on this tester, but then a 3.14V CR2032 also measured 2.89V on the tester and a 3.04V CR123A (camera battery) measured 2.96V. I don't know if I got a defective one or if they all suffer this issue, perhaps from poor contact with button cells.

Having wasted money on other small battery testers that soon fell apart due to poor construction, I was in despair of finding a good one. But this one is sturdy and it's accurate. Perhaps it's a tad more expensive than others I've had, but it's worth it.

Probably worth paying the extra for this clever battery tester. Much better than the Draper one I had AND it gives you an actual voltage readout as well. The sliding scale of whether to replace it or not is very useful.

Does the job as it should.

I have had several battery testers in the past including multimeters. The problem has always been that the displays have either been too basic and vague or in the case of multimeters - accurate but you have to compare the voltage reading with what is acceptable and what is not. The things I particularly like about this are the build quality, the digital display showing voltage down to 1/100th of a volt along with a bar graph showing the state of charge and all this without needing a battery to power it (using the battery being tested) with older ones I have owned I needed a AAA battery and you are always wondering if the battery is still up to the job. The build quality and finish of the tester is top drawer. It ain't cheap but it ain't disappointing either. Highly recommended item and I don't thing anyone who buys it will be disappointed with their choice.

Jaren eerder moeten kopen. Gemakkelijk in gebruik. Eenvoudige manier om batterijen te testen.

The indicator is very clear. Sometimes it is hard to align the battery to test it, so after repeated tries a battery I thought was so dead that it didnt register on the reader actually had full charge. Thats why I knocked off one star.

Provides effective information about battery health

Muy útil, hasta el momento fiable. Lo utilizo mucho cuando no tengo a mano el multímetro. Es compacto, la pantalla se ve bien y tiene selector con posiciones 1.2V, 1,4V y 3V y posición en el extremo para pilas de 9V. Con pilas CR123A de 3V a veces he tenido que ayudarme de un clip o pequeña pieza metálica ya que algunos fabricantes recubren la pila con aislamiento grueso que expone poco el polo negativo y el medidor no llega, pero no es un defecto del medidor en sí, sino de las características físicas de ciertas pilas y en ciertos fabricantes. De momento el medidor funciona como se espera y no requiere pila propia.
