bought this not for diving but for a small light on my hard hat. works great had it for about a month now. the on off funtion is kinda of annoying but you get used to it. ive dropped it and ended up breaking its thin plastic piece that hold the angle. still works but turns a full 90 degree when jumping down from beams. im really rough with lights i get and this one held up stronger than usual. would buy again. Plenty bright. i use 18650 batteries about 2500mah and it lasts me a good 8 hours continuous use.

I ordered this light for an extended business/vacation trip to Asia, but the light turned out to be a total piece of junk. I received it just days before I left, so I packed it up and took it to Asia. I put batteries in it and it turned on and off twice within a matter of one minute - that was it! I must have put 3 or 4 sets of brand new batteries in but it never worked after the initial 2 times. After a closer look at the internal components, it was obvious how the seller used such poor quality parts - the battery holder, the light assembly itself (which was a blob of epoxy), and the plastic quarter-twist ring that slides the magnet around (probably to engage a reed switch inside the blob aka. light assembly). The real stink of it was that I was in Asia beyond the 30 days that Amazon allows for returning items. I contacted Amazon, explained the situation, that I wouldn't be back in the States before the return policy when I could ship it back, but they ignored my explanation. So, now I'm stuck with a junky plastic headlamp that doesn't work.

if you are looking for a light that lasts, I would recommend this one. The batteries are heavy duty and last a long time. I do like the 4 modes for different applications. The one beam allows me to look at items closely and brightly. (such as when working on a car. The other two wider beams allows me to see very far when I am walking in the dark/hiking. It definitely lights up the trail. I like the flashing component for approaching cars. The charging is simple and lets you know when it is charged. The headband is very easy to adjust and is comfortable wearing. I will definitely be buying another one for people I know. Well worth the money for the value.

I put new batteries in & used it for about an hour. The light dimmed significantly. I wasn't impressed with the brightness when I first put in the batteries either. I should have returned it.I ordered a headlight, but now it's a totally different light & picture in 2017, saying I bought this, which I didn't. It was an Inn gear 800 Cree T6 Led.

You get what you pay for. I intended to use this diving, but found it awkward to put over my head while wearing a mask. However, it does make for a good back up, in case your main light goes out. And for the price, it works OK.

Good light for the price it's bright and so helpful to have a hands free light when lobster diving. Strap does need an upgrade along with the plastic piece that sits in ur for head, it does have a little pad but not that effective. Light wants to slide of my head when I dive down. other than that the light its self works great. On and off switch is really easy to use with or without gloves. Batteries are easy to install

Nice, bright lamp for scuba diving. Waterproof and has been over 100 foot deep with no issues. Only downside is the strap connections. Not a full through loop, but a split loop, which makes getting the strap on easy, but also makes it prone to slipping off. Could also use a 3rd, overhead strap. For the price, would buy again.

Didn't come working at first, took a long time to figure out that the pieces weren't put together properly. Looks bright, turns on and switches between settings in a funky way that I don't like. I have yet to test it under water to take pictures with! excited

I work for public works, I put it on my hard hat. Not designed for it, but you can hook the side straps behing the little plastic snippets onto the helmet.I really don't like having to cycle through the the light settings just to power on.You can't adjust power, just cycle throught the different beam patterns.I like you can charge using a USB port, I can charge the helmet in my my truck through one of my many already available micro USB cable.I didn't know, but there's a red light on the back when the unit is on, it's good for my need of seeing and being seen on the jobsite, not so sure for hiking and such.Uses 2x 18650 batteries (included).

very bright on the high setting other setting works great also. with rechargeable batteries to use over and over is a great benefit.

I take this every time i go ice fishing and any other night activities and it works great
