Budget-friendly, easy to install, works great.
The media could not be loaded. I recently switched from a Zero Water system to the PUR faucet mount and couldn't be happier. With the Zero Water system, the filter replacements were becoming increasingly expensive. The PUR system, on the other hand, offers a much more budget-friendly solution. For around $25, I purchased the faucet mount, and filters are readily available for under $10 each. Considering each filter can purify up to 100 gallons of water, it's a cost-effective way to improve the taste and quality of my tap water. The filter significantly reduces the mineral content, eliminating the unpleasant chlorine taste and musty odor. The water tastes noticeably fresher and cleaner. Installation was very easy with one small wrench.Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. The PUR faucet mount is a reliable and affordable way to enhance your drinking water experience.

Taste the difference
I used to drink straight from the tap with no issues, but tried this out and it improved the flavor of the water so much- you can immediately taste how clean it is. Only con is that the drinking spout is very slow so it takes a while to fill up a glass. But the other side is fast. Easy to install.

Works until it leaks, and it will leak.
***UPDATE 8/22/23***I’ve rethought my assessment of this and upgraded my rating to four stars from two. I’m still disappointed that the housing starts leaking every year or so and needs to be replaced, but even with this inconvenience and added cost the filters themselves are very good (and that’s the really important part) and overall offer good performance and value for all the “Pur” water you get. And despite its faults this is still worlds better than using a pitcher with a filter.***UPDATE 12/5/20***Now, not surprisingly, my last Pur Faucet Filter housing has started leaking after only about six months. As I mentioned previously, I’m trying a new faucet-mount system from ESOW that uses a metal housing and seems to have a comparable filter to the Pur filter. I will report back in six months or so with feedback on how that filter system is working in case other Pur customers are tired of leaking filters and are looking for a viable replacement. I would caution that a lot of other filter systems out there do not meaningfully filter out heavy metals (like lead) so read carefully when choosing another water filter. In any event, I’m happy to no longer be buying and supporting a product that is obviously purposely under built and designed to fail after a short period to increase sales. Shame on you Pur!***UPDATE 7/21/20***The last one of these I bought lasted lasted 6 months before it started leaking, and as I find this to be ridiculous and completely unacceptable I’m lowering my rating to one star and Pur is losing my business. Despite the great value the Pur filters represent for providing filtered water, their faucet mounts are a joke. Pur can’t seem to figure out how to make a simple delivery system that doesn’t leak, and this stupidity has been going on for many, many years so there’s just no excuse for this. This is not rocket science. It’s gotten frustrating enough that I’m now going to look for an alternative, and if I have to pay a little more for filters to not have to continually buy these shoddy faucet mounts I’m now ok with that. Right now I feel like an idiot constantly giving Pur more money for a product that I know will fail in six months or so. It’s sad really, because this seems so unnecessary. I don’t know who the product manager is who produces these things, but whoever they are they’re completely incompetent and are responsible for Pur now losing my business after more than 10 years of being a loyal customer. Nice job moron! When I find a better alternative I will certainly update here with that product so others have the opportunity to exit this absurd merry-go-round as well.================================================================I've been buying Pur water filters for many years now, so I've been through several iterations of their faucet-mount filters. Although they've refined and largely improved the design over the years, the one issue they haven't been able overcome is that the filter housings inevitably start to leak at some point and need to be replaced. In my experience, and under heavy daily use with our family of four, I get anywhere from one to three years out of it before it begins to leak. While it is somewhat annoying, and I wish they'd finally just come out with a metal version that lasts, given the low overall cost of the filtered water we get out of these I really can't complain too much. When I buy replacement filters in bulk here on Amazon, it costs us about $3 per month for all the filtered water we need for drinking, cooking, etc. What other products that are good in your life only cost $3 per month? So even adding in the cost of occasionally replacing the filter housing it's still a very economical source of filtered water, especially when I compare it to what I know my neighbors pay to have big jugs of water constantly delivered to their house. And seriously, who wants to deal with all those big and insanely heavy (and expensive) jugs? Anyway, despite the obvious flaw, overall I'm very happy with the quality of our Pur filtered water and the low cost of having peace of mind that my family is not ingesting harmful chemicals, heavy metals, etc. So I'll happily keep using my admittedly less-than-perfect Pur filter and would still highly recommend them to people interested in adding filtered water into their lives.

Pur water filter system.
Works perfect like it should. It took me under 1 min total to unpack and install. This was a replacement for the same item that had developed a small drip in the front of the housing.maybe it was bumped with something during its 3 -4 years it was used. The only neg thing I can say is that the filters are expensive. It does work great and always lets you know when to replace the filter.

Works!
I've had a PUR faucet water filter for years. It really works at improving the taste of city water. The filter mechanism started leaking at its seams within the last year, which was very annoying and messy, as well as allowing some water to come out of the main faucet even with the filter handle turned on (this had nothing to do with the seal - believe me, I tested it).I found this PUR to replace it, since it was claimed that filters from the previous version would fit. They were correct: the filters I already own fit this PUR, which has saved me money and waste. It came with various handy adaptors, which I didn't need for this faucet, but I'm glad they were included. Installation was easier and it fit more tightly on my faucet than the previous PUR. So far, no seam leaks or water coming out of the main faucet while using the filter, although it sounds different than the older one (a bit noisier for some reason).I also like (on both versions) the filter life indicator light. As on the previous PUR I owned, if the indicator doesn't start working for a newly installed filter, you just open the PUR, pull out the filter and push the button inside, then reinstall the filter and close the PUR.As for longevity, I will update this review at a later date.
