The taste and texture of the vanilla and chocolate are fine, not wonderful. But on the digestive front, for me, it's great. It's the first protein powder I've used that doesn't have me horribly gassy all day (this and rx bars). I work in an office setting so that's a no go, not to mention the discomfort. I do belch a few times after drinking it in the morning but that dissipates quickly. I like that it only has a few ingredients, simplicity is good. So for all the pros, I'll live with the taste. The dehydrated berry chunks float. If drinking before pieces rehydrate, gas and stomach issues, fun! Peanut butter: umm, I'm out, not trying this one. This will continue to be my go to protein, good product.

I've been using the vanilla flavor for a while but wanted to branch out to the chocolate. It's really good, but I still like the vanilla more and find it more versatile. However this would be great in a milkshake or iced coffee blend and similar things. I haven't tried any other forms of vegan protein powder, this is the first brand I've ever used but I like it. There's no weird texture like I've heard people complain about with other kinds of vegan protein, and the flavor is great. I found this to be much better than the whey protein I used to use from another brand, which is impressive being vegan. I'm all for this stuff!

The flavor of this powder is outstanding. I love the chocolate flavor my wife loves the peanut butter one. You get a combination of, I think, 4-6 plant proteins to give you complete amino acid. 20 grams of protein per scoop. Faster shipping than the website if you have prime (2 Day shipping is $18 on PesScience’s website). The product itself was a few dollars cheaper on amazon. So you get the product itself cheaper and free 2 day shipping and it’s probably one of the best Vegan protein powder options on the market. It’s a win-win-win.

Product blends decently but I wouldn’t buy again because I am ok eating whey in protein powder. It is good if you avoid any animal based products.

Favorite protein shake, tastes great and not chalky

I'm a meat eater through and through and I normally supplement with Whey and Casein proteins. However, I also like to test out other plant based options so that I know what's available if a client asks my opinion on options. I've also began developing some digestive issues over the years that sometimes calls for a product that might be easier on my stomach. So, I had heard great reviews of the PEScience Select Vegan from some non-vegan reviewers and decided I'd give it a shot with a small order. One of the biggest problems with most plant based proteins is that they taste like you're eating grass. I've had some that taste like I put a glass of grass clippings in my mouth and had to spit it out. That wasn't the case here. The flavor listed was nice (it also came with samples of a couple of other flavors that were good as well). But, there's also an aftertaste that's a little funky. Definitely not what you'd normally get out of a plant protein, and I would probably adjust to it after a while, but it wasn't the most pleasant either. I want to say it was kind of a dirt flavor, but that might be a little too harsh. It was also very gritty, regardless of how much water was used or how much it was mixed. I do wonder if that would be alleviated by blending rather than just using a shaker. The first time I thought it might be the batch, but it was the same throughout the other samples that were included. All in all, I think for myself, being a meat eater who can handle dairy products, I probably wouldn't keep more than a sample around. But, I would recommend it to plant based eaters or those who can't have dairy with the caveat that they'll have to adjust to that aftertaste (which is WAYYYY better than the grass taste of other options), and they'll have to handle the gritty texture. The great thing is that you can buy super small quantities to try it first and not be stuck with a huge tub you don't like. I've actually already recommended that to a couple of family members with IBS who are forced to eat cereal with water and need another option.

I bought this product a while back and compared it to five other protein drink drinks and it was excellent. Just as I was about to write a superb review they changed it to something I can not stand drinking. The taste had been delicious now I want to return it or sell it or throw it away! The product was excellent and now they made it terrible compared to all the other products out there that are similar. Why they changed this product to a terrible taste when it was delicious beats me. I will see if Amazon will return it and if not I will probably throw it away. I add other things to my protein drink they are all the same and I have added them to the original flavor. Now I can barely drink this protein drink. I am extremely disappointed and I will have to start shopping around again for something that is similar without cholesterol, but has a delicious taste.

Enfin des protéines végétales de qualité sans "sucres" bizarres et au bon goût! La version chocolat à un goût sucré plis prononcé que la version vanille. Après 3 mois d'essais, je recommande vivement cette marque! Le rapport proteines/glucides/graisse est assez interessant pour du végétal. (Je recherche 20g protéines au minimum pour moins de 5g de glucides et 2g de graisse).

Great flavour and great nutritional value. This company understands that performance and irruption go hand-in-hand ! Flavour, odour, and texture are all good. Great to mix with almond/coconut milk !

SUPER YUMMY! It has a little bit of a chalky taste but I did not mind it. Overall, one of the better vegan proteins for sure!
