Ampro Pro Styl Protein Styling Gel, Super Hold, 32 oz.

I used this when I was younger and used gel all of the time, and now that I have teens with massive amounts of hair I wanted to see if this would work for them (instead of the much more expensive curl custard they were using, which is $32 for 16 oz). It did and I am so happy! I also got the olive oil version because the prices were so reasonable and it's great, too. When we opened the box, my kids were amazed at how big the jar is-so was I. This is a great product that's an awesome value!

Doesnt leave that sticky gel residue, does get hard but once you touch it, your hair starts to get soft. If you don't touch your hair, then it will last all day. I hace 3c hair and it works good for me, doesnt have alcohol and it has a good hold.

My husband uses this product for his hair and his hair is POKER straight! He's been using the same product for years but ever since this one hair dresser put this in his hair he had to have it. Works well. He has dark hair and it seems to add a light tint to his hair making it more dark and covering the grays. It's almost humorous how humongous this container is but hey, it'll last a long time.

Let’s get straight to the point, this hair gel can be used on dry or wet/damp hair and pretty much works both ways. The gel is not really super thick in consistency but packs a strong hold and won’t give you that feeling like you’re getting scalped like others do(think gorilla snot gel). The smell is good and won’t flake for more than 8 hours after applying. This hair gel is colored black so it will conceal a few gray hair perfectly, that also being its only con that it will certainly stain your clothes until it’s completely dry, 15-30 minutes after that you should be good. Also the 32 oz size lasts me about a month and a half using it every day on long hair.

Keeps hairstyles in place without flaking as compared to regular hair gels on the market. The dark color blends in perfectly with my daughters hair and does not stain her edges; however, I have been clumsy enough before to spill a bit on my carpet and it did stain. So just be careful when using it around surfaces that you don't want to cause spillage. Otherwise 5/5 would recommend. Also, it's cheaper to buy at Walmart!
