Timex Easy Reader Date Expansion Band Watch

I like the clean & simple style of the watch, also the clear, easy to read dial, time & date both clearly visible. It was going when I received it & the date was out of sync. No instructions, just the guarantee in the box, but found out how to turn the hands to match actual noon & midnight 12 and then set the date. It is a bit fiddly to set the date but patience does it! I can see why some might say the bracelet is too tight for a big wrist, but it is fine for me.

Ideal for someone with dementia as easy to understand plain numbers.

I had purchased the same watch nearly nine years ago, but after the bracelet strap broke, the winding knob became somewhat tarnished, and finally after so many years the battery showed signs of needing replacement, I decided to replace the entire watch with the same model as it is a style that I like and find comfortable to wear. I was disappointed to find that the watch, at £66, was priced around £22 pounds higher then the one I bought in 2012, but went ahead anyway. My order arrived well ahead of schedule, but I was not impressed by the shoddy packaging. The flimsy box containing the watch felt damp inside the plastic bag and thin bubble wrap, and the watch itself was mounted in a plastic structure which was annoyingly difficult to remove. I recall that my 2012 watch was encased in a sturdy cardboard jewellery type box, the type that is nice and useful to keep. So, standards have fallen while the price has dramatically risen! However, the watch appears to be of the same high quality as previously, and I expect another near decade of use at the very least, so overall I'm happy, or at least I was until I just noticed that, two weeks on, the price has dropped to just under £50.....arrrrrgh!! I have given the purchase only three stars, as it's a five star product in one star packaging, and priced questionably high.

the watch band could be a little bigger. Can I adjust myself?

Got this watch for my dad. He’s very picky about the watch he wears. Has to be sliver or two-tone, white face, large black numbers, and lights up at night, with an elastic band. It fit th bill and looks great!

the watch was perfect for me i fave trouble seeing at night so the face lighting up meant i had no problems reading the time.It also arrived the date quoted which was great,would have no problems dealing with amazon again.

I had this very watch for over 15 years and it worked fine. One day while working on a car, my wrench slipped and my arm went with it. Sadly the watch didn't survive that one as the face smashed into a bolt.. I saw one here and ordered it. Now I'm back in business with a new Indiglo watch. Easy to read dial, lights up at night, speed to set date, flexible bracelet. Perfect, you can't go wrong with this watch.
