Summary: Using this in a Solar/PV system, specifically between the panels and charge controller.Observations: Easy to operate; visual indications when tripped; easy to reset. This are designed to be mounted to a DIN rail. I will be installing these (and more breakers) in the enclosure listed below. Also pictured is a smaller, true mini-size circuit breaker.Recommendations: General rule of thumb to size a breaker is 125% over maximum current. Breaker failed within a year of use. I was pulling around 1800 watts at the time on a 3000 watt inverter. Should have been fine. Breaker was warm to the touch. It was still passing low voltage and would open all the way.

Been getting into solar and building a system, so products like this are kind of necessary. This is my second breaker from this company and they do make pretty good breakers. Well made enough for it's purpose. The action seems good. Of course this is not lighted, but there is red and green colors above the switches, guess it's nice, but they are hard to see. Also, not a huge fan of how it locks into the DIN rail, just seems kind of flimsy. But only my opinion.For the price, it does what it is suppose too, will be useful. I am happy.

Cheap overall plastic cover. Tightening compression screws plastic cover buckle up and terminal is slipped off on side unaligned.Have to be careful when tighten terminal screws otherwise it will become useless piece protective device.

I use DC breakers for solar connections and this is similar to another brand I own, with both working well. It mounts to a standard rail and includes a small piece in case you need it. The screws make secure connections and the lever is easy to toggle on and off. In short, a good choice for solar.
